TGS Football

TGS Football TGS Football showcases the Toowoomba Grammar School Football Program from Prep to Year 12. TGS Football has been in operation since 1991.

TGS Football provides opportunities to boys from P-12 to participate in Football and Futsal during their time at the School. Boys commence their Journey at Grammar Junior School who play in the FQ Darling Downs Mini-Roos Competition from April until September. High School Students play in the prestigious GPS football competition which operates across Term 2. TGS Football won their 1st Premiership

in 2016 and followed that up with a back 2 back title in 2017. TGS Football are ably supported by their Football Supporters Group who run their Annual Race Day as a major fund raiser.

The AFA Champion of Champions week has now concluded with our 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 boys competing in the State Championships at Nissan Arena.

The 14 boys made it to the State Final and qualified for the National Championships in November.

The 15 boys left the competition at the quarterfinal stage in a strong competition.

The 12 and 13s enjoyed their competitions and left in the the group stages.

Our 16s played on today and lost in the Semi-Final but still qualify for Nationals.
