The Mayor puts real numbers on the Toowoomba Region Sports Precinct: a request to the state and federal budgets for $30 million each, alongside Council's $24 million. That is an $84 million stage one, building what he reckons is four or six rectangular fields.

And stage one is exactly that. It runs to six stages, and all up it's about a $300 million build.
