PRACTICE MAKES PROGRESS ✨
“Let go of the outcome and stay focused on the process.”
It’s been a bit of a yoga comeback year for me after a couple of years of injuries and restrictions. After my eye injury, I really missed being upside down, and over the last year I’ve felt a deep desire to rediscover what my body is capable of.
One thing that has always made me nervous? Headstands and Handstands. 🙈
So I made a commitment: if a workshop came up, I’d do it. I’d keep exploring my edges and try not to let fear dictate what I can and can’t do.
Literally days later, Yoga St8 announced a headstand and handstand workshop. 😂 Okay universe, I hear you!
I went along today feeling nervous about not being good enough and ended up having SO much fun. A beautiful mix of levels, lots of support, laughter and the joy of seeing what happens when you just give something a go.
“When the mind wanders, bring it back again and again.”
Yoga constantly reminds me to stay curious, open and willing to explore.
Practice makes progress—not perfection. ✨🤸‍♀️

Mum and I were just talking about last goodbyes. She said she’ll never forget the smile Dad gave her the night before he left.

I’ve often thought about my own last goodbye with you. I didn’t know it was our last, but there was something very special about that hug. Somehow, I think a part of you knew.

I miss you always, but you are my beautiful angel. I know you’re watching over me, with your gentle hand around my shoulder, your kind words, your sometimes-not-so-gentle words, and always that beautiful laugh tinkling in my ear when I need it most.

Especially when I’m taking myself far too seriously, I say your name and somehow I can hear that laugh.

Jane, never forgotten. Always loved. 🩵 ❤️

“We are not the survival of the fittest. We are the survival of the most nurtured.” — Tara Brach
One of the hardest truths about life is that we can’t prevent difficult moments from happening. We can do the inner work, cultivate peace, and deepen our self-awareness, yet life will still bring unexpected change, loss, and uncertainty.
The question isn’t whether we’ll face challenges—it’s how we meet them.
✨ Slowing down can help us navigate a crisis.
When we pause, we create space between what has happened and how we respond. Instead of being carried away by fear or overwhelm, we can take a breath, ground ourselves, and choose our next step with greater clarity and compassion.
Tara Brach speaks about resourcing—connecting with what helps us feel safe, supported, and grounded when life feels intense.
Your resources might be:
🤍 Your breath.
🌿 Nature.
🎶 Music.
🫶 A trusted friend.
🐾 A beloved pet.
🙏 Prayer.
💛 A hand on your heart.
Resourcing doesn’t make the pain disappear. It gives your nervous system enough support to stay present with it.
Perhaps true resilience isn’t about being the strongest. Perhaps it’s about allowing ourselves to be nurtured—by others, by our practices, and by the compassion we offer ourselves.
Slow down. Breathe. Resource yourself. You don’t have to weather every storm alone. 🌊💛

Emerging from our four-day Sound Healing Workshop like a gooey butterfly still dripping from her chrysalis, this quote deeply resonated:
“Energy moves in waves. Waves move in patterns. Patterns move in rhythms. A human being is just that—energy, waves, patterns, rhythms. Nothing more. Nothing less. A dance.”
— Gabrielle Roth
After four days of practice, learning, transformation, release, connection, and witnessing, I’m feeling both completely shattered and deeply nourished. There is something extraordinary about gathering with a group of unique individuals and watching each person find their own rhythm, their own medicine, and their own way of moving with the waves of life.
So much gratitude for everyone who showed up with open hearts and a willingness to explore the healing power of sound. ✨🦋🎶
Special shout out to the ever-amazing

“Dancing, singing, storytelling, and silence are the four universal healing salves.” Gabrielle Roth

There’s so much happening, so much to process, that it can feel almost impossible to stay grounded, focused, or connected to what we truly want for ourselves when life feels out of control.
When our energy is scattered, exhausted, or blocked by stress, grief, fear, burnout or constant pressure, even simple things can feel heavy.
✨ Chakradance is a moving meditation for the soul — blending music, movement and mindfulness to help release energetic blocks, restore balance, and reconnect you with yourself.
In this powerful session you’ll:
✨ Experience your chakras
✨ Release tension and emotion
✨ Reconnect with your inner wisdom
✨ Move your body, calm your mind and open your heart
Saturday May 16 | 4–5:30pm
