ᴡʜᴇɴ ᴡᴀꜱ ʏᴏᴜʀ ꜰɪʀꜱᴛ ᴛɪᴍᴇ?

During the class, one of my students asked me an impromptu question: “When was the last time you tried something new?”

Have you experienced the first time you did anything, whether it was gardening, cooking a new recipe, reading a whole book, going on a travel just yourself, the first time leading a project, first presentation, the first time anything that gave you excitement, happiness and sense of achievement?

There are many firsts in our life, which have helped shape our life.

I received this in the email this weekend.
"𝒯𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝓁𝑜𝓉𝓈 𝑜𝒻 𝒷𝒾𝑔 𝒻𝒾𝓇𝓈𝓉𝓈 𝒾𝓃 𝓁𝒾𝒻𝑒, 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓂𝒶𝓃𝓎 𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝓌𝑜𝓇𝓉𝒽 𝒸𝑒𝓁𝑒𝒷𝓇𝒶𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔. 𝒜𝓃𝒹 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒻𝒾𝓇𝓈𝓉𝓈 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝑔𝒾𝓋𝑒 𝓁𝒾𝒻𝑒 — 𝓁𝒾𝒻𝑒-𝓁𝒾𝓀𝑒 𝒷𝓁𝑜𝑜𝒹 — 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝓌𝑜𝓇𝓉𝒽 𝒸𝑒𝓁𝑒𝒷𝓇𝒶𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔.
𝒮𝑜, 𝑔𝑜 𝒶𝒽𝑒𝒶𝒹 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒹𝑜 𝒶 𝓁𝒾𝓉𝓉𝓁𝑒 𝒹𝒶𝓃𝒸𝑒."

Well, it’s not my first; however, it’s the first in Australia.
I had my first blood donation when I was 19 years old.
Once again, after so many years, I have begun.
I felt the excitement, happiness and fulfilling energy just like the first time.
I felt more connected with myself.

There could be many things that you would done years before, and because of the gap, you never revisited it.
If those things keep you lively and more connected within you or with others, it’s time to start your first once again, even if you lost the momentum.

You will realise the true meaning of life when you are genuinely connected within through your values & deeds.

Enjoy those firsts, and repeat them even if it has been long.

Shine from within💚✨

🚀 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐰! 🚀

We all know there are many ways to say it: "Just do it," "Get things done," or "Take care of what's necessary." But here's what I've found to be true: Do the things immediately, especially when you start thinking of all the excuses not to do them.

That moment when you're tempted to procrastinate? That's your signal to act. It's the first step toward feeling good about yourself and setting the tone for your future success. You're accomplishing your goals and building self-respect and confidence by immediately taking action.

I have procrastinated for many things, even though I know I need to do it. However, these days, I tell myself to do those things first, which makes me feel overwhelmed or look for reasons to put off. Whenever I miss doing those things, I feel terrible. I then decided to do things in a way that I enjoy doing it.
For instance, walking daily is doable, but I procrastinated, so I decided to do 5000 steps and increase it by 20% every fortnight. Instead of aiming for 10000 steps daily, which was quite overwhelming, I procrastinated. But now, I feel good about myself when I see the ring on the iPhone is complete.

Remember, your decisions today shape the person you'll become tomorrow. So, don't wait for the perfect moment—create it. Your future self will thank you for every step you take now. Let's make progress and keep moving forward! 💪✨

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧?

You know this already- "What you cannot measure, you can't manage."

As an aspiring coach, if you aren’t a "numbers person, measuring growth and success in your coaching business can still be achieved through various qualitative and quantitative methods.

The following ways you can do these:

💚 Collect client testimonials from satisfied clients showcasing their progress and experiences.
💚 Regularly seek feedback to understand the impact of your coaching on your client's personal or professional development.
💚 Assess the strength of your client relationships. A strong bond with clients often indicates successful coaching.
💚 Measure the number of referrals you receive from existing clients. A high referral rate suggests client satisfaction and successful outcomes.
💚 A high retention rate means if they are resigning or coming back for more sessions, that indicates the perceived value of your coaching services.
💚 While you may not be a numbers person, keeping an eye on your business revenue is crucial. You are knowing & keeping a tab of the income over time to ensure sustainability and growth.
💚 Consistent growth in your client base is a measurable indicator of business success.
💚 Regularly assess whether you're meeting your goals.

Things you can do -

✅ While handling numbers can be challenging for you, consider delegating tasks like financial tracking or analytics to someone with expertise.
✅ Use user-friendly tools and software to automate some of the numerical aspects of your business, such as client tracking, invoicing, or essential financial management.
✅ While you may not be naturally inclined towards numbers, investing time in basic financial literacy can empower you to make informed decisions for your business.

Remember, success in coaching is multifaceted, and combining qualitative and quantitative measures provides a more holistic view of your business's growth and impact.

𝗧𝗼 𝗗𝗼 𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗧𝗼 𝗗𝗼 – 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁?

As coaches and professionals, we focus on many things to do daily.
We have set our goals and are always working towards achieving those goals. However, in the process, we procrastinate, get overwhelmed, get energy drained, slow down, and sometimes feel stuck.

I have found that we have a choice to do or not. What I mean by that is you can do it when you genuinely know that you are moving forward by doing this particular piece of work, which will help you achieve your goal. You are one step closer to your success. You do have the choice. You have the freedom to choose whether or not to do the work.

However, the question is, have you made the choice? How can you continue without procrastinating if you have chosen to do the work regularly?
I hear from many coaches that they know they must be doing posts that are engaging to their market; however, the coaches have their reasons why they aren’t able to do it.

A few reasons are:

1. I don’t know what content to post
2. I feel like an imposter
3. My content is not perfect to be posted
4. I don’t want others to judge me
5. I’m just not good with content creation

Although we have a choice to do it or not, if you commit to yourself and your audience, you will do the work. To answer the above reasons, like I’m not good at content creation, I don’t know what to post, I feel like an imposter, etc., I have something to share with you. I was reading a book by Jim Edwards, and he says, “𝒞𝑜𝓂𝓂𝒾𝓉 𝓉𝑜 𝑔𝑒𝓉𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝒹 𝒶𝓉 𝒾𝓉. 𝐵𝑒𝒻𝑜𝓇𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒸𝒶𝓃 𝒷𝑒 𝑔𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓉, 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝒷𝑒 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝒹. 𝐵𝑒𝒻𝑜𝓇𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒸𝒶𝓃 𝒷𝑒 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝒹, 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝒷𝑒 𝒷𝒶𝒹. 𝐵𝑒𝒻𝑜𝓇𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒸𝒶𝓃 𝒷𝑒 𝒷𝒶𝒹, 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝓉𝓇𝓎. 𝒴𝑜𝓊 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝒹𝑜 𝓈𝑜𝓂𝑒𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔. 𝒯𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓃𝑒𝑒𝒹 𝓉𝑜 𝓅𝒶𝓎 𝒶𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓃𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃 𝓉𝑜 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓂𝑒𝒶𝓈𝓊𝓇𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓊𝓁𝓉𝓈.”

Will it be a fair ask to do something, even for you to say I’m bad at this so that you can get better at it? Will this help you to move away from quoting the above reasons?

We all start from a place of not knowing what we can post, coaches who are good at it have started somewhere from the level where you are now. Unless they have the gift to create content that attracts the right audience to engage with them, they wouldn’t necessarily have felt the same way as you are.

However, if you are still unsure of what type of content you need to post and how to attract quality leads to your program, I invite you to join me on the webinar on “ How to Turn Every Content Into Quality Lead in 3 Ways”.

For more details, comment “Lead in 3ways” below 👇👇👇, and I will share more info on the webinar.

Is it because it's free?
Is it because they are offering values, ideas, and strategies?

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘃𝘀. 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗺𝗮

While the allure of free masterclasses is undeniable, the actual value lies in discernment. Evaluate whether the content aligns with your coaching goals and if the guru's expertise resonates with your vision. It's not merely about collecting certificates; it's about integrating meaningful knowledge into your coaching practice.

𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

Strategic learning is about balance. It's about acknowledging that pursuing knowledge is a lifelong journey, and every masterclass should be a stepping stone, not a stumbling block. Choose quality over quantity, relevance over randomness, and depth over breadth.

However, my question is, how long will you be doing this?
Haven't you reached a point yet where the information is scattered & overloaded from all different perspectives?
You cannot build a coaching business from the fragments of information collected from different sources over some time - Do you agree?

𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵

How long can the quest for diverse perspectives continue before information becomes a cacophony?
Recognise the point where the sheer volume of insights hinders rather than enhances growth. Information overload, stemming from many perspectives, can lead to confusion and hinder your ability to crystallise your unique coaching approach.

Some of the information may not be relevant to your coaching style, some are more complex, and some are too far from where you are. Now, if you are trying to make everything you learned from all the gurus out there work for you, thinking all their information is vital, you are now struggling to stitch everything together.

Again, there is nothing right or wrong here. However, when you think everything will work for you, is it really working?

𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲

Your coaching journey is uniquely yours. While learning from various sources is commendable, distilling your insights into a coherent framework is equally important. Define your niche, sharpen your expertise, and cultivate a coaching space that reflects your authentic voice.

𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

As we navigate 2024, it's time to shift from a quantity-centric approach to a quality-focused strategy. Be intentional in choosing masterclasses that contribute to a cohesive growth narrative. Instead of spreading yourself thin, delve deep into a few areas that align with your aspirations and challenges.

In conclusion, let 2024 be the year of strategic growth. It's not about how many masterclasses you attend but how each contributes to your unique coaching identity. Embrace the wisdom that aligns with your goals, and let your coaching practice flourish with purpose and authenticity.

🌟 Whether pursuing a new passion, embarking on a new career, or diving into a new project, remember: Your first step takes a long way.
💪✨ Embrace the excitement of the unknown and trust the process.

I embarked on this speaking journey nearly five years ago. Then, it was for me to learn and develop my speaking skills. Later, it sparked me to teach speaking skills to kids who can build their communication skills, become confident in expressing their opinions, think on their feet, and develop and shape their personalities as they grow.

We started it in August this year, and teaching the kids their public speaking skills was a pleasure.
Yesterday, the Youth Orators Speaking event went very well. I'm so proud of all the kids who participated in this program and made a speech yesterday in front of their loved ones and others.

I want to thank Thiru Arumugam for sponsoring the hall and supporting this program. Also, my friend Meena Aravindh, thank you for coming to cheer me and the kids on this special occasion—my special thanks and hugs to my son Tarun Balaji for being there for me regardless of anything.

Hey everyone 👋

Just a little reminder for anyone chasing big dreams and ambitious goals: it's okay to start small! 🚀💫

Sometimes, the journey to our aspirations can feel overwhelming, but the key is to be humble and appreciate the small steps. 🌈✨

Whether you're aiming for a career milestone, a personal achievement, or a fitness goal, remember that every giant oak tree was once a tiny acorn. 🌳

For some time, I was thinking about starting the speaking program for professionals; however, when a parent approached me asking if I could coach the students, I was totally into the idea and started to take immediate action.
1. Applied for working with children licence
2. I did the flyer in Canva, sent it to people in my network, and posted some in some groups.
3. I got two parents who genuinely showed interest in their kids learning the speaking program.
4. Then, two other kids joined by word of mouth.

I was determined to go ahead with this program for children's public speaking program, irrespective of the number of kids who joined the program.

♥ Starting small isn't a sign of weakness; it's a testament to our courage and determination. ♥

🌟 So, I'm celebrating those small victories, those first steps, and the lessons learned along the way 💪.

Next week, the kids have their finale of presenting their speeches in front of their parents and friends.

It is the first public event I'm hosting, and I'm super proud of the kids on this journey to learn and sharpen their skills.

I have learned many things while I'm mentoring them.

I'm grateful 🙏 for the opportunity and feel blessed that I could seed some more good things with them, like they have started to do their journaling, knows how to provide feedback without poking or provoking their peers, they know how to address the impromptu topics.

If you are keen to watch them do their speech presentation, join us on 16th Dec at 10:30 am.

Tag someone who wants their kids to learn the art of public speaking and become confident in their lives.
