And that’s a wrap…a great weekend of cricket and mateship in Tiona. A huge thank you to GREAT LAKES Cricket CLUB for hosting us this weekend; providing us with a spectacular turf pitch, beers, banter and great competition. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we can’t wait to keep the rivalry going for years to come.

PREMIERSHIP TIME!!! - big congratulations to both the..

U10 Blues who had a heart stopping TIE in today’s last round which was enough to put them top of the ladder in their pool, and premiers by 1 point, after the ladder leaders were upset. 🏆

U12 Boomers, who won their grand final with a terrific team performance against a tough opponent after finishing on top of the ladder following the regular season 🏆

They are undoubtedly our junior players of the week for our good friends at The Pool Centre Sydney 🏊‍♀️ and McDonald's Beacon Hill 🍔

Well done boys, coaches, managers and parents!! Guess we’d better order those baggy blues…..😀 🧢

🚨 CENTURION ALERT 🚨

A massive congratulations to Alpha (Ben) James for knocking up a monster ton for the 3rd grade Tigersharks in the final game of the season yesterday. Coming in at number 3, with the score at 1-3, on a field that offered very little reward for batsmen, Alfie put us on his shoulders again and said to the team “don’t worry lads. I’ll take it from here” as he finished not out on 108* with 11 fours and 3 sixes, gifting the Tigersharks a 4 wicket victory (6-150 chasing 144). Alfie isn’t a stranger to knocking up big match winning hundreds, finishing the season with over 400 runs and an average over 50 in his first season with the Tigersharks. He is an amazing cricketer and an even better bloke, and it’s been a pleasure captaining him this season and witnessing him in action with both bat and ball. Congratulations Ben for taking out this weeks The Pool Centre Sydney Big SPLASH Moment of the Week 🏏

$2,485 is a wonderful outcome for the club, and the funds will help us purchase new equipment for the 26/27 season
