Disc Golf tournament returning to Tintinara!

The TINTINARA TEE OFF 2023 is open for Registration!

Not since the 2017 SA Open on the ADG Tour has the Tintinara Disc Golf course played host to an official event! Join us as we blow out the cob webs and descend on Tinti for a disc golf weekend to remember!

This ADG Tour Event / PDGA C-Tier event will be held on Feb 18 and 19, and sees Adelaide Disc Golf and Mount Gambier Disc Golf join forces to bring you a special event at our beloved Tintinara course! How exciting for both member bases to come together!

The weekend will include (but not limited to): camping, a working bee, late Round 1 on Saturday and early Round 2 on Sunday. And for added fun, we will also have a Saturday night Glow Round + games (which might even include a water carry CTP comp to basket 9 with Glow Discs!).

The layout? It could be the 9 basket, dual tee layout! But it could be more - watch this space.

Saturday after lunch we will also run a community Come and Try / Coaching clinic where the public can learn more about Disc Golf and purchase some discs, followed by Round 1 where they can see how it's done!

To register and pay your $35 pp entry fee in one go, head to: https://www.sadiscgolf.com/product-page/tintinara-tee-off-2023

A special thankyou to the Coorong District Council for their approval of this event.

We look forward to having you along!

Always good to be pointed in the right direction.

Scan down the list of major tournaments that make up the Australian Disc Golf Tour this coming year and you'll be struck by what a classic line-up of events we have. Every course registered so far is a world class venue. The ones that aren't already part of our shared history are fast writing their names into Aussie disc golf mythology: Weston Park, Inverleigh, Poimena, Victoria Park, Molong, Crater Lakes and The Ranch.

The 2022 Aussie Tour is going to be epic.

Coming to a course near you this November. Organisation is now well advanced for this years 'Big Show That You Have When You Can't Have The Big Show.' All the details are on the ADG web page. There's an option to register anyway, even if your local area hasn't registered a tournament yet.

If you are unlucky enough to be in an area where you don't think you'll be able to hold an event, but want to be part of it, particularly if you want one of the 1st-run, custom-stamped, all-Aussie-made events discs - register as a non-playing participant and you'll get the disc at a stupidly cheap price.

Many sports in South Australia have been impacted significantly by the ongoing COVID-19 situation but Disc Golf has been seeing record numbers of people taking up and playing the sport across the State. Also the Tintinara Disc Golf Course has become a regular stopping point for disc golfers travelling between Adelaide and The South East but will we see an emergence of local Tatiara players follow the trend?

Tag a local disc golfer and let’s find out!!!
