A huge effort from Jackson Steinhardt in Men’s Second Grade at Bill Albury Oval.

Jackson produced an outstanding six-wicket haul, finishing with figures of 6/87 from a marathon 27-over spell.

A brilliant innings from Scott Reberger in Men’s Fourth Grade at Ian Droney Oval.

Scotty struck an outstanding 83 from just 61 balls, including 12 fours and two sixes.

A superb knock and a fantastic way to start the season. Well batted mate, you owe us a new roof panel in the dressing rooms 🤪

🏏 SEY 50-OVER CAMPAIGN OFF TO A FLYER! 🦅💚💛

What a start for our Wynnum Manly SEY teams in the 50-over rounds of the SEY Youth Competition!

The Sea Eagles enjoyed dominating wins over Valleys & Ferny Districts on Sunday, with some outstanding performances across both matches.

🌀 Liam Crosby, Aarav Patel & Elwood Cameron led the way with the ball, producing standout spin-bowling performances and putting the opposition under serious pressure.

But the star of the day was undoubtedly Tom Duffy, who smashed an incredible 97 from just 80 balls* against Valleys — coming in at No. 7 and putting together a brilliant unbeaten innings! 🔥🏏

A fantastic round from our young Sea Eagles. The future is looking bright! 💚💛

YOUTH CRICKET RESULTS

A tough Sunday for our youth teams, with both BMC sides battling hard and our Lord Taverners Under 17 match washed out.

BMC Division 1 fell just 11 runs short after bowling their opposition out for 153. Caleb McDougall again top-scored with a determined 45, while Noah Bray produced an excellent all-round performance with 23 and 3/13.

BMC Division 2 fought hard defending 124 before going down by two wickets. Aadit Dubey led the bowling with 3/27, supported by Jake Johnson with 2/23.

Not the results we were looking for, but plenty of encouraging performances as our young Sea Eagles begin their 2026/27 season.

WOMEN’S RESULTS | TWO WINS FROM THREE

A strong Sunday for our women’s teams, with Second Grade and our Open Women’s BWC side recording excellent victories.

Second Grade chased down 109 to win by seven wickets, led by Lucinsa Hillier with 30 and Peyton Powell with 20. Earlier, Jayani Maharaj claimed 3/6 and Bonnie Crimson took 3/36.

Our Open Women’s side produced an eight-wicket victory, reaching the target with plenty in hand. Ravleen Kahlon scored 31, while Paige Mein completed an outstanding all-round performance with 23 not out and 2/14.

First Grade fought hard in their season opener but fell 34 runs short in their run chase. Clodagh Ryall top-scored with 43, while Amreen Kahlon led the bowling with 3/40.

A great start to the season, with plenty more to come from our women’s program!
