Our goal is simple:

Get more people into the gym.
Get more people moving.
Get more people feeling healthier, more confident, fitter and stronger.

There are so many people in Albury Wodonga and the wider region who are not in a gym at all. Those are the people our industry should be working harder to support.

We need to come up with novel ideas and elegant solutions on how to get these people walking through our doors and then feeling comfortable in our spaces.

This post is also an educational piece around the ugly side of marketing in the fitness industry.

We see these offers through a completely different lens to what the average gym goer might.

To a member or someone looking to join, “4 weeks free”, a referral discount, a “gym jump” offer or a flash sale might just look like a good deal.

But from the business side, these offers are designed to create urgency, pressure people into making a quick emotional decision or lure someone into a longer commitment.

That has never sat right with us.

We don’t want to build FORGED by pressuring people, poaching members from other gyms or creating fake urgency around a deal that was never really a deal.

We want people to train with us because they value what we offer and they feel like they’re training in the right space.

If we can’t attract people with what we offer, then that’s on us to fix.

The lazy option would be for us to launch a new “offer” and ignore why people aren’t interested in what we provide.

Businesses that dig deeper and make an effort to understand people’s motivations are the ones that will organically attract the right people in the long run.

This is our goal, and the reason you see us moving things around, offering classes, adding in layers of support, and making sure our spaces align with the clientele we attract and want to attract.

This is just an awareness piece. We want you to make the right decisions for your health and fitness and want you to be in the gym for the right reasons, not just because you scored a few weeks access for free.

Last night’s first boxing session was a hit 🥊

Bradie made sure everyone left absolutely nothing in the tank, and it was so good to see everyone getting stuck in, learning new skills and pushing hard.

A fast-paced pump session designed to get plenty done in 30 to 45 minutes. Perfect for anyone who wants a structured session without overthinking what to train.

6:30AM sharp start - 7:15AM finish tomorrow, Tuesday 16th!

A great class if you want to learn correct barbell squatting technique. We’ve recently purchased an 8kg “technique barbell” for this class. It’s a full-sized barbell made primarily out of Aluminium for these that find the standard 20kg bar a bit daunting! We’ll bring it out in case you’d like to use it.

Free for members of the Studio. No bookings required. Tag along if you’re interested! See you then! 😁

While the FORGED Fitness Factory is more of a place where our members do their own thing and get to know all the different pieces of equipment, at the FORGED Fitness Studio we’re more about keeping the space as streamlined and supportive as possible.

You may have noticed the empty magazine racks near the entrance recently. We’ve just filled them up with programmed workout cards that anyone can use for their session!

If you want to keep things fresh or if you just want something to follow along to, we’ve got it. There are 20 different sessions to choose from, whether it’s full body, upper body, lower body, a leg day, arm day, a HIIT session, a b***y workout or a bit of a mixture, there’s more variety than you could ever need!

By our count, we offer 6x levels of support available for Studio members, increasing in personalisation, 1-on-1 assistance and guidance:

Here’s a decent walkthrough with Allan, covering the new cardio pieces that have found their way into the Studio!

Some of these pieces can look a little daunting and confusing so we felt it was a good opportunity to provide a decent demonstration video on how to use them, and why we chose them!

Each piece is rather unique and provides an awesome workout, in a very short amount of time!

As always ask if you have any questions, or ask for a demo during staffed hours if you want to make sure you’re doing it right.

We have no doubt you’ll love these new additions.

If you’re wondering how we made it all fit - having the Factory allows us to move equipment out to that space where it’ll be used more. The Panatta Power Tower and Preacher Curl bench suit the factory space and will bring the Factory members more joy! 😁

We keep a close eye on what’s used, what isn’t, and what members are looking for so we each space makes as much sense as possible.

Our Tuesday and Thursday night classes are all about variety, energy and training at your own pace.

Every session is different, which means you will get to use a mix of equipment across the gym, try new movements and keep your training exciting.

It is the perfect class if you want structure without feeling locked into one style of training.

You can push hard, take it steady, or work at the level that suits you. These classes are designed to be fun, supportive and a great way to make the most of everything FORGED has to offer.
