Our Female Football Open Women’s team were proud to stand together today in support of inclusion and belonging across our club. 🏳️‍🌈
Our club culture is grounded in diversity, inclusion and opportunity for all, and Pride Round provided a chance to acknowledge and celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community and the positive contribution they make to our game.

🔴⚪🔵 FEMALE FOOTBALL - ROUND 9 🔵⚪🔴

Round 9 of Female Football sees the Thurgoona Bulldogs take on the Wodonga Raiders at the Kennel this Sunday.

Our U12 Girls will kick off the day at 9:30am, followed by the U15 Girls at 11:00am. The Open Women's team will then take the field at 12:45pm to round out a big day of football.

With sunshine forecast, it's the perfect day to get down to the Kennel, enjoy some great football, and cheer on our Bulldogs.

Congratulations to Maddy Kimball on making her senior netball debut today in C-Reserve! 🏐

Maddy is a regular in our U13’s team, but today stepped up to the challenge of senior netball and did a fantastic job. She embraced the opportunity, worked hard, and showed exactly why she was selected.

We love seeing our junior netballers develop their skills, build their confidence, and take on new opportunities. Experiences like these are an important part of their journey and help prepare them for the future.

Well done, Maddy! We’re incredibly proud of your efforts today and can’t wait to watch your continued development in the years ahead. 🔴🔵⚪️

Congratulations to Billy McWaters on making his Senior debut this weekend.
Billy joined us in 2025 and quickly forged a key defensive role in the Reserves. After putting in the hard work over a full pre-season, Billy's form has been undeniable so far this season with his willingness to do the gritty stuff, earning him huge respect from his teammates. He now gets a well deserved opportunity at Senior level. Go well Billy.

🔴⚪️🔵 50 CLUB GAMES - NOAH SMITH 🔵⚪️🔴

Congratulations to Noah Smith on playing his 50th Club game today.
Starting his Bulldog journey in 2019 in our Under 17s, Noz has become a versatile player who can fill a role on any line on the field. Not just a smooth operator on the field, Noz is also known for his strong performances at social functions making him a popular character at the Kennel.

Congratulations to our U17s players, Max Willis and Connor Dickson, who proudly represented Xavier Catholic College in the 2026 Bill Taylor Cup on Wednesday night.

In challenging wet conditions, the Xavier Senior Boys team put in a fantastic performance to come away with the win against Scots.

Well done to Max and Connor on their selection and contribution, and congratulations to the entire Xavier team on a great result!

🔴⚪🔵ROUND 10 v DEDERANG MT BEAUTY🔵⚪🔴

Tomorrow we head to Dederang as we take on Dederang Mt Beauty Football Netball Club in what’s set to be a big day of football and netball action.

Rain is on the forecast, and nothing says “perfect conditions” quite like a wet ground and a slippery ball. So grab your gumboots and raincoat, pack your umbrella, and come out and cheer on the Bulldogs. Our teams will be out on the field and court giving it their all!

After the games, please join us at The Newmarket Hotel for awards and dinner.

🔴⚪️🔵 THURSDAY NIGHT DINNERS ARE BACK! 🔵⚪️🔴

After a week off, Thursday Night Dinners return this week at the Kennel, and we’re serving up a crowd favourite – Build Your Own Burgers with a side of chips!

Please note that we’ve made a small adjustment to our family meal pricing. We work hard to keep Thursday night dinners affordable for our Bulldogs families, however due to increasing cost we’ve had to increase our family meal deal pricing. From this week family meal deals will be priced as follows:

🔹 Family of 3 or 4 – $30
🔹 Family of 5 – $40
🔹 Family of 6 – $50

Individual meal pricing remains at $10pp.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone back at the club this Thursday!
