Congratulations to Bridie on her outstanding performance at Round 1 of the Winter Series, held on Sunday at the Maitland Regional Athletics Centre.

Competing in seven events, Bridie delivered an impressive set of results, achieving five PBs along the way. Her dedication, determination, and hard work were evident across all events.

Well done, Bridie, and thank you for proudly representing Thornton Little Athletics Club. You looked fantastic in your winter jacket, and we hope it helped keep you warm between events.

This event is open to all registered athletes from U6's and up.

Anyone who registered for the 2025/26 season, is still currently registered and able to attend this event.

Thornton Little Athletics is currently seeking expressions of interest for the position of Treasurer following the resignation of our current Treasurer.

The position is a 2-year term and would suit someone with basic bookkeeping and organisational skills.

This is an important role within our club and a great opportunity to support our athletics community and help continue the growth of Thornton Little Athletics.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Glencore for their generous support of our club.

Through their Junior Sports Grant program, Glencore has committed $5,500 towards our equipment replenishment project. This funding will allow us to replace outdated equipment and purchase everything needed to introduce javelin to our program next season — an exciting addition for our athletes!

We are incredibly grateful for Glencore’s support in helping us continue to grow and provide new opportunities for our athletes. Thank you for investing in our club and community. 💜

That’s a wrap on the 2025/26 season! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone for your support throughout the season — we couldn’t have done it without you.

Congratulations to all our athletes on an incredible season. You’ve achieved some amazing results and should be so proud of your effort, commitment, and dedication. 💜

Our AGM is coming up on 16th May. If we achieved everything we did this season with such a small committee, imagine what we could do with a few more helping hands! You don’t need to take on an executive role — general members are just as important, especially when it comes to events and lending a hand with organising and setup.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always happy to chat and explain things further.
