Blues Union Netball Club is very proud and honoured to share that a special delivery has been made to Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬

We were able to gift them our uniforms, hair scrunchies and polo shirts. They have never received that sized donation before and they are truly very appreciative.

Our new freind Barb and local contact handed over the uniforms to Lea - President, Florence - Secretary and Florence- Treasurer. As well as the recipients Jackson Godua the Villiage Councellor was in attendance.

Gomore village in the Rigo District of Central Province, Papua New Guinea, acts as a hub for local netball, frequently hosting Rigo Netball Association tournaments. These events, such as the 2021 tournament, aim to showcase top local talent, promote health, and select players for district and regional teams.
Gomore has hosted major district tournaments
thta provide opportunities for women and girls to compete and develop, with the goal of reaching national-level representation.

A special thank you to Katy (previous committee member) for helping co-ordinate and Niamh - Uniform Coordinator and Meaghan - Vice President for the fast turnaround of delivery due to being time sensitive.

It is truly a happy day as we hope the Blues spirit lives on with this New Guinea netball community💙💙💙

With all clubs on the courts we were competitors off the courts we are all friends with one common goal, to get kids out and having fun, making friendship and memories and of course playing Netball 💙💛.

Thank you Raiders Netball Club Redlands Incorporated for these wonderful words. We will miss you and all of the off court friendships we have made.

Raiders Netball Club is incredibly saddened to see Blues Union Netball Club leave the RNA competition.

For 36 years, Blues Union has been an important part of our netball community — contributing not only players and teams, but dedication, passion and service to RNA. Their commitment over the past three decades has helped shape the competition into what it is today.

We extend our sincere thanks for your contribution, sportsmanship and service to RNA over the past 36 years. Your legacy will remain part of our netball community.

We will keep you updated in regards to returning of Uniforms, Equipment & Perpetual Trophy's etc.

Our first priority is helping our current members finding new clubs or de-registering.

We are still on the hunt for some U11 players born in 2015 to finalise our teams. If you have thought about joining up now is your chance with our final grading session tomorrow afternoon.

If you are unsure come down to the RNA courts tomorrow afternoon from 4.30pm to have a chat and see if we are the club for you. Bring along your joggers and water bottle if you decide to register and want to jump in and have a go 💙🏐🐬

The club wishes to make the below announcement, we have spoken with our club Catarina and also our longest serving committee member Mike. We have also communicated with all of our current members via email the below message.

Thank you to all of our players, committee members, volunteers families and supporters for the last 36 years, you have all made a mark on the club that is Blues Union Netball Club.

This is not a decision that has been made lightly and a lot of thought, hours and indeed years have been volunteered into the club and its members so today is a very sad day.

Please be patient with us while we help players transition in what ever they may do, we will support you all to make a seamless as possible.
