Women’s Over 30 Division 1 Preliminary Final
Oak Flats Kraken vs Thirroul Thunderbirds

In the penultimate game of the season the League Champions Oak Flats take on third placed Thirroul Thunderbirds for the right to challenge Kiama Quarriers in the Grand Final. Kiama booked their place by defeating Oak Flats in the Major Semi-final, while the Thunderbirds have gotten this far by defeating Albion Park White Eagles in the Minor Semi-final.

On paper there’s little to pick between the teams though Oak Flats won both matches between the teams during the season. However, the Thunderbirds have shown improved form recently and were commanding in their Semi-final win over Albion Park.

And for our next winners this weekend…our U12 Div 3 girls played on Sunday 🩷 and HUGE congratulations to the team - GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS!

What a season. What a game. What a team.

They beat Bulli 1-0 in an epic final! It was 2nd (Thirroul) v 3rd (Bulli) in the grand final and what a game it was!

To finish the year as Grand Final Champions is an incredible achievement and a reflection of the hard work, commitment, growth and brilliant mindset this team has shown all year. We could not be prouder! 🏆

A huge congratulations to Bulli Junior Football Club on an incredible Grand Final and outstanding season. It’s been a pleasure sharing the field with you this year, always competitive, respectful and played in great spirit.

A big thank you also to Football South Coast for another fantastic finals series, and to Unanderra Hearts - Junior Club for hosting the Grand Finals and providing a great stage for our teams to finish the season. 👏⚽️

And a massive shout-out to coach Luke Madigan and managers Vanessa Bulmer and Suzanne Do for their hard work, dedication and for keeping this team motivated, focused and believing all season.

HUGE congratulations to our U17 Div 1 — LEAGUE CHAMPIONS AND now GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS!

What a season. What a game. What a team.

Up 1–0 at half-time and then finished with a 3-1 victory over Helensburg. It was an absolute battle right to the very end, and they never stopped working, believing or playing for each other.

And the crowd did an amazing job cheering them on 😁
