Congratulations to Sienna, an 8 year old player in our Div 3 Saturday afternoon Thirlmere Tennis Competition.
Sienna was invited by Tennis Australia to participate in the prestigious NSW Super 10s Regional State Camp held at Bathurst Tennis Centre
She earned the affectionate nickname “pocket rocket” on court and won one of six medals awarded to participants.

On this day, we mournfully acknowledge the first anniversary of Geoff Morschel's departure, the father of our Head Coach Adam. His absence resonates deeply within his family, his circle of friends, and the broader tennis community that spans from Camden to Eden, especially Thirlmere , Camden South Tennis Club and Wests Macarthur. As a testament to his passion for tennis, Geoff's last on-court appearance was in a men's doubles match two days prior and drove his eldest grandson to training and tournaments all over NSW, highlighting his lifelong dedication to the sport. Throughout his life, Geoff was a pillar in tennis, contributing as a coach, racquet stringer, umpire, and former President of Picton Tennis Club, actively engaging in interdistrict competitions, school holiday programs, and veteran events.

We had a special guest from Parliament NSW join us at school holiday tennis camp.
Judy Hannan MP, Member for Wollondilly dropped by to watch our local talent and take turns hitting tennis balls launched from the ball machine. Judy kindly supported the local sports grant application for the ball
Machine made by the Thirlmere Tennis Club in 2024.

Fynlay Langlands - Girls Tier 4 runner up
Sienna - Girls U10 runner up

We love seeing our players' success! We celebrate SHANIYA who was a member of the South East Under 10s Girls Team that won the title at the State Championships. Shaniya is involved in a range of programs at Morschels Tennis Academy conveniently located next door to Thirlmere Public School in the Wollondilly Area. Michelle from Dwyer Family Funerals was supportive throughout the whole funeral process. Dwyer Family were empathetic, and attentive to the needs of our family, while also being professional and efficient in handling the practical aspects of funeral arrangements.
