Saturday 5th September at Peel Reserve.
Three things on, come down for whatever suits.

🧢 From 9am: Main diamond maintenance
Seniors, juniors, parents, anyone can grab a rake. Many hands make light work.

⚾ 9am to 10am: Sliding practice (10U to 16U)
Learn it or sharpen it up before round one!

Aim is to go through so much dirt your parents empty an entire box of Napisan on you.

📣 10am: Learn to umpire
Get across T-Ball and Liveball umpiring.

Let's get the diamond sharp and everyone ready to go.

⚾ 10s Modball
⚾ 6U Beeball

Never coached before? Doesn't matter.

Full support and guidance from day one, and you won't be thrown in on your own.

What you'll need:
- A Working With Children Check
- Baseball NSW Level A, a free online course to get you started
- Level B after that

Any costs are reimbursed if you're coaching with us.

Want to learn how to umpire?
We’ll be covering the basics of umpiring T-Ball and Liveball.

We’ll also be getting the Main Diamond ready for the season.

The course is open to participants aged 𝟭𝟮+ and provides the practical on-field component toward Community Umpire accreditation.

Before attending, participants must complete the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 and bring their certificate of completion.

Participants aged 18+ also require a valid Volunteer Working With Children Check.

Following the practical course, participants complete the NSWBUA online accreditation test.

What a great night down at Peel Reserve Saturday night at Blacktown City Council hosted event The Sweet Spot.

We are always proud to talk all things Scorpions and share what our club and baseball community is all about!

And yes.. Summer registrations are open! 👀⚾

⚾ Great to catch up with the Schofields Scorpions Baseball Club yesterday while we were out and about in the community yesterday.

There’s something special about our local sporting clubs. Behind every game are volunteers, coaches, parents and supporters giving their time and energy to create opportunities for our young people and bring families together.

The Scorpions are now welcoming registrations for their upcoming summer season! Whether you’re a returning player or new to baseball, it’s a great opportunity to get involved, meet new people and be part of a fantastic local club.

A big shout-out to everyone involved with the club — thank you for what you do, week in and week out.

Strong local clubs help build strong communities, and that’s something we’ll always get behind.

🦂 TWO RUNS. AGAIN. 🦂

Div 8 East went down to the Oakville Raiders 9-7 in the Grand Final replay.

Twice now with a title on the line and there's still nothing between them. A draw last week, two runs over the weekend. Oakville got it done when it counted and they deserve it.

Nothing but pride from this end. The side went to the well twice in seven days and left everything out there both times. That's the group we've got.

Thanks to Sydney Metro Baseball for getting the replay on and seeing the season through for us, it is very much appreciated.

To everyone who came out to Colbee, and to everyone who backed both sides through finals, thank you.

Family, partners, kids, old players, and people who just turned up because the club was on.
You made both weekends feel like they mattered.

Two senior sides, two Grand Finals, in our 30th year. Not many clubs can say that.

And we go again soon. Summer season kicks off 12 September.
