Friday thoughts..
I think we all agree on one thing.......
No matter what the action or behaviour we aspire to implement in our lives, without consistently making time to action this behaviour, it will never become a habit.
If we fall into this category we unfortunately lose any hope of cashing in on the benefits we stand to gain by performing them.
But I know what you’re thinking!!
How am I meant to be consistent when -
- I’m busy?
- I’m sore?
- I’m tired?
- I’m Old?
- I’m too young?
- I’m stressed?
- It’s so cold?
- It’s so hot?
- It’s Monday?
- It’s Friday?
- I have to do everything?
- I have no husband/wife?
- I’m sad?
- I work physically hard?
Well, the thing is....
I don’t know?
One thing I can tell you though, is I can’t remember the last time I coached someone who wasn’t overcoming one or all of the above to achieve a winners consistency.
So what’s the point?
If we wait until conditions are perfect to act or behave a certain way to achieve our goals, we’ll never leave the house.
We just need to understand that it’s a part of life and that someone out there who is twice as old, busy, stressed, injured, susceptible to hot and cold
Weather is somehow holding it together to devote an hour a day to their health. Ultimately being better equipped to be the Son, Daughter, wife, husband, father, mother, professional, student etc they potentially can be.
If you’re stuck in this rut you have all my empathy and Love just not my sympathy. 💪🏼
And to all, holding it together to get here against all odds, you’re the true heroes of this world.
You are gifting your Loved ones with Life. Essentially more years with them having you on this beautiful planet.
