Jason and I competed at the Mackay Ranchers and Reiners show yesterday with our young horses “Okie”and “Scooter”and we had a great time.
Thankyou for putting on a wonderful friendly show. 👏👏👏

“Okies Dual Promise “

Recently I bought myself a young horse with doing ranch in mind.
I was scrolling through some comments on someone else’s post. There was a beautiful rising 4 year old chestnut gelding that caught my eye. I said to Jason we are going to look at this horse when we go to Tamworth for the reining Nationals.
We did and I bought him.

Well today I’m very proud to say he went awesome for a green horse that literally has come out of a paddock (not trained )and gone to his very first ranch show ever or any show for that matter.

“Okie” and I went in all the Ranch beginner horse events (big classes)
We placed
Ranch trail 3rd
Ranch on the rail 4th
Ranch pleasure 4th
Ranch riding 4th
Ranch reining 4th

“Scooter” and Jason also were in the beginner horse classes
Ranch pleasure 1st
Ranch Riding 2nd
Ranch conformation 2nd overall
Jason also won a beautiful donated hat rack which we donated back to Joanne Bartolo for all her hard work and dedication to her club.
