🎾 Social Tennis Wrap-Up & Big Season Ahead! 🎾

Our social tennis has officially wrapped up as teams have now been selected for the upcoming competition. A huge thank you to everyone who came down for a hit—we’re thrilled to announce that, thanks to the overwhelming interest from new members, we’ve added two extra teams this season!

If you didn’t make it to a social before this comp but are interested in joining the next season, keep an eye on our page. We’ll be running more social nights mid-year before the next comp kicks off.

The big question—can Dean’s team make it four in a row? 👀🏆 Is it his superior captaincy skills, or just the luck of the draw? Either way, the pressure is on! 🎾🔥

🎾 Terrigal Old Boys Tennis Club - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) 🎾
Got questions? Here’s everything you need to know about joining our club and participating in our exciting competitions:

1️⃣ Who can join the club?
The club is open to adults. We currently range from 30+. We welcome all skill levels!

2️⃣ What is the competition format?
Our main event is a Men’s Doubles tournament, held every Wednesday night from 7 PM to 10 PM. Players are grouped up for the season, forming doubles teams that compete together throughout the tournament. The season includes exciting weekly matches, finishing with knockout rounds and finals.

3️⃣ How much does it cost?
$25 to sign up for the season
$12 per Wednesday night

4️⃣ Where do you play?
We play at Terrigal Tennis Courts, located on Duffys Road.

5️⃣ When does the new season start?
The 2026 season begins around late January (exact date to be confirmed).

6️⃣ Can I play before the season starts?
Yes! Social tennis will begin in the new year. This is a great opportunity to meet new players and warm up before the competition starts. It’s a fun, casual environment where you can practice and have a hit. You don’t need to be a member for social tennis. Details will follow, and the event will be updated on our page, so stay tuned!

7️⃣ What should I bring?
Just your racquet and money to pay for court fees. We’ve got everything else covered!

8️⃣ What if I can’t play every Wednesday night?
If you can’t make it one week, just let your captain know in advance. Depending on the size of your team, one person may sit out each week, but we have plenty of other players in different teams who can fill in for you!

📩 Interested in joining? Make sure you come to the first social when details are released, and sign up to be part of the action!
