In exciting news, Central Coast Basketball is pleased to report that planning is well underway to undertake facility upgrades as part of the $985,000 Federal Government Grant.
Central Coast Council and their facilities and projects team have undertaken an extensive review of the required works in conjunction with Central Coast Basketball and have finalised a program that will work towards minimising condensation issues and improving player and patron comfort.
Initially, rectification works under the building will be completed to stop water flow through this area. In line with these works, it is intended that a deep sand will be undertaken over all four courts, to improve the playing surface.
Upgrades to the roofing infrastructure and air conditioning are also planned.
These are all important works and would not have been possible without the support of Dr. Gordon Reid MP , Federal Member for Robertson, and his team on the Central Coast. We thank him for his support and look forward to more positive outcomes in the future.
