Central Coast Basketball is currently taking registrations of members to attend the 2021 Annual General Meeting to be held at 7pm on Monday 26th of July 2021 at the Breakers Country Club.

Members are able to attend the meeting in person or remotely using the Zoom platform.

Bookings are now open for Term 3 of our Basketball Minis program!Our Basketball Minis Classes are designed for kids aged between 18 months and 5 years and are fun and interactive classes which focus on basic basketball skills for your little ones.

Sessions will differ from week to week but tend to include a general warm up, run and shoot, colour and number recognition games, passing practice, bouncing practice, obstacle course and parachute fun.

Do you have two or three kids under 5? Well our Basketball Minis classes are great as all kids under 5 are welcome to participate in the same class which means you wont have to worry about booking different time slots because of their differing ages, or holding one back because they aren’t suppose to be participating.

Class Details:
Pricing: $100 per term (includes a basketball minis singlet valued at $35), $75 per term without singlet OR casual sessions are $12 per child per session

Sessions Include: A free hot beverage for Mum or Dad

Days and Times: Mondays 11:00am-11:45am

Term 3 Dates: Monday 19th July – Monday 13th September 2021

Term 3 of our Aussie Hoops Skills Development Session are now open for bookings!

Aussie Hoops is Basketball Australia’s official introductory program, providing a fun and inclusive Basketball experience for 5-10 year olds that serves as an introduction to a lifetime of involvement in the game. In addition to promoting healthy and active lifestyles, the program serves as a platform for social development and inclusion – fostering stronger and more vibrant communities and individuals.

Aussie Hoops has been designed in three staged programs to ensure that for each age group, participants are participating in activities and games that are relevant to their physical and mental capabilities, which will increase in competitiveness until participants are ready to transition into our domestic competition.

Session Details:

Day Fridays
Time 4:00pm-5:00pm
Term 3 Dates 16th July – 10th September 2021
Location Central Coast Adventist School, 12 Penrose Cres, Erina NSW 2250

Cost:
$100 per term for new participants (includes bag, singlet and ball playing kit – image below)

Central Coast Basketball is seeking nominations to join the Board of Managers for 2021.

In line with our constitution, we are seeking nominations from interested members for the positions of: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and General Directors. Terms are based on a biannual basis.

Join us for our online 'no hoop required' skills sessions today at 10am and 11am!

These sessions will focus on the skills and fundamentals of the game which don't require a hoop and provide a sporting outlet to help maintain physical and mental wellbeing.

We understand that not everyone will have access to a hoop or certain spaces that will be required for all activities but we encourage you to get creative and find a way to be successful using this time to your advantage.

- Friday 2nd July
- Tuesday 6th July
- Thursday 8th July

Sessions times are as follows:
- 5-10 Years: 10am-11am
- 11 years+: 11am-12pm

Following the announcement by the NSW Government that the lockdown of Sydney and the Greater Sydney Region, all Central Coast Basketball activities remain suspended.

A review of the current situation will be made around the 16th of July when we will be able to provide additional updates based on the information provided by a number of key stakeholders including the NSW Government, Basketball NSW and the Central Coast Council.

We encourage all members to keep safe and check in with each other. We will continue in our current online format and would love to see as many people as we can engaging in sessions as often as they can.

Term 3 of our Rising Rebels Skills Development Sessions starts this Saturday!

Proudly sponsored by Fluid Plumbing, our Rising Rebels Sessions play a vital role in the development of players aged 5-17 who compete in our domestic competition or are new to the sport or basketball as the session provide skills to advance them to the representative level.

Skills such as shooting, ball handling, footwork and team skills are all included in the delivery of this program which assist players to improve their skills so that they are able to move towards a representative level of game.

- Saturdays 8am-8:45am (5-8 Year Olds)
- Saturdays 8:45am-9:30am (9-12 Year Olds)
- Saturdays 9:30am-10:15am (13-17 Year Olds)

Central Coast Basketball wishes to advise that our Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 26th July 2021 from 7pm at the Breakers Country Club, Dover Road, Wamberal.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the meeting will also be available online for members who are unable to attend in person or if Government restrictions forbid face to face attendance.
