From „weary“, „stressed“ and „frustrated“ to „grounded“, „nourished“ and „enlightened“ - there was a noticeable shift in mood for our mini retreat participants.

This is what the afternoon roughly looked like:
From standing and shaking it all out - to a floor-based practice with lots of breath awareness and humming sounds.

Nourishing, healthy home-made food and calming tea.

A beautiful reflection session and guided journaling with Sarah from Kokoro for some innercise.

A deeply relaxing and restorative practice with a yoga nidra followed by a sharing circle while devouring a warm dhal.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this special experience!

First Aqua Yoga session today went really well. We had lots of fun exploring our stability and strength in balancing poses as well as finding some really good stretches and a floating pool noodle supported shavasana in the end.

Thank you to my lovely participants Kate and Paula, it was great practicing yoga in the water with you!

Next Tuesday 10:15am we‘ll meet again - just come along for a free trial if this made you curious.

It doesn’t need much to move and breathe a little each day. This combination of spinal and arm movement with your breath is especially great if you feel hunched and stiff in your upper back.

Exhale - hands on body, chin to chest, round back
Inhale - open arms and chest, arched back
3 different heights, standing or sitting, repeat 5-10times. Take a moment afterwards to feel into upper body and breath.

If you want to do more after a day of sitting, join my 5-week course tonight (28 May) in the Warriewood Community Centre.
