Only 2 weeks to the 2026 IFAA Nationals happening 24, 25 & 26 July at Cec Apps Archery Park.

The ranges are looking mint. The campground is lush and there is plenty of firewood. Bring it on.

Whipper snippering the grass this morning. Up past the 50 mtr. butt a small snake-in-the grass met the machine. I couldn't positively identify it but maybe a tiger about 30cm long. Careful about searching for arrows with your bare hands, please!

R Licence testing is usually conducted in conjuncion with our 3D shoots. Our next 3D shoot is scheduled 20 February 2002. The test commences at 11am.

Hi everyone . Hope you had a good Christmas and and are ready to welcome in the New Year in style. Sunday being a nice day a number of us visited the range. Amongst those present was Oscar/Lucinder? our resident red bellied black snake looking very healthy and well fed. Oscar was seen below the sign Blue Range sign and after considering options chose to move off down towards the Red Range. There has also been several sightings of browns so please be cautious walking the ranges. If you are shooting on your own please take your phone for all eventualities and make sure you know what to do in case of getting bitten.

This is your invitation to attend the AGM and presentation day for Manly Warringah Field Archers for 2021.

AGM will commence at 9.00 am

The agenda for the meeting is as follow

1. Reports from:

- President

- Secretary

- Treasurer

- VP Field and VP Bowhunting

2. Committee Positions and Appointees currently without nominations:
- ABA Rep

- Catering (club shoots)

- Communications and social media

Any members willing to contribute to the club through a committee position are welcome to nominate. If you require information about any of the committee positions or wish to nominate then please email to [email protected]

3. Election of Office bearers for 2021

This includes the above positions as well as a number of committee positions including Range Master and Range Assistants, other delegated roles for committee members.
4. Awards Presentations will commence at 10am

Annual 3D club competition and Hunting Awards presented from 10.00 am

5. Novelty shoot will commence at 10.30 am
includes:

short 3D course
speed shoot
long shot
flying pig
V shoot
Apple shot
and our own herd of Reindeer.
6. Lunch provided by the club will commence at 12.30 am

so bring your bows and help to celebrate a return to archery at Manly Warringah Field Archers

Please make sure that you have your MWFA and ABA membership cards with you. COVID protocols will be in place to meet government guidelines.

Guest archers and new members are always welcome
