CBL26 is fast approaching and it’s time for our men to get back to the courts!

Coach Tom has had a massive off-season honing his craft - spending time with Melbourne United learning from the best, and assisting the Warrnambool Seahawks in the BIG V Competition. Now, he’s ready to lead the charge and take us one step further in CBL26!

Last weekend we had 9 little superstars participate at the Basketball Victoria U12 Country Skills Days.

A massive CONGRATULATIONS to Lyla B, Summer D & Emmy S on your selection for the 2026 U12 Country Jamboree.

These 3 girls are off to Echuca in the September school holidays for a 4 day camp, enjoy the experience and we can’t wait to see you all shine!

The future of Country Victorian basketball is bright!

Congratulations to the 240 young athletes selected for the 2026 Under-12 Country Jamboree, taking place in Echuca from 19-22 September, 2026.

This is the first step on the Basketball Victoria Country Pathway for selected athletes, and an exciting opportunity to represent their region, develop their game and create lifelong memories.

Congratulations also to each athlete who took part in this year's Country U12 Skills Days.

After 3 years away, our Women’s CBL team is hitting the court again - and we want YOU to be a part of the comeback.

Come meet our coach Matt Clarke, run through drills and get a feel for the squad, as we rebuild, re-energise and return stronger than ever.

Please note these are conducted as CLOSED sessions with only players and relevant coaching staff present in the stadium. NO representative gear (Tornadoes or State) is permitted.

Please bring your own drink bottle to each session and remain in foyer area until your designated session time. Basketballs will be provided.

A short compulsory parent/guardian meeting will be held 10 minutes prior to the first session of each age group to discuss representative program. If unavailable to attend please contact Squad Coordinator.

Any medical exemptions should be emailed to Squad Coordinator at [email protected] prior to first session.

We are extremely excited to introduce our Men’s and Women’s CBL coaches for season 2026 ❤️💙

After making history and taking our CBL men’s team to the grand final in 2025, Tom Symons is back. His mission? To go one step further and bring home the South West CBL title this season!

CBL26 also sees the return of our Women’s side after a 3 year hiatus. We welcome back Matt Clarke and his family to the Tornadoes! We are excited to watch Matt’s leadership and passion as he works to rebuild our fantastic Women’s program for the future.
