On Saturday night, we came together at Evoqé Events in the heart of the C*D to celebrate the 2026 Old Trinity Best & Fairest.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped celebrate another memorable season at the club. It was a fantastic night recognising the players, coaches, volunteers and supporters who contributed so much throughout the year.

The Reserves finished the season with a strong 21 point victory against St Bernards. In an arm wrestle of a game the boys kicked 3 late goals to secure the win.

The 2026 season was a challenging season for the Reserves however, there was a lot of growth within the playing group.

Adjusting from Premier B football to Premier Men’s Reserves took time however there were many positives to come out of the year.

With a year of learning under the belt, the boys have now established the belief that they can compete at the level.

Saturday’s heart-stopping victory over St Bernard’s, securing the Club’s place in Premier Division for 2027, also marked Donald McDonald’s final game as Senior Coach of Old Trinity.

Since arriving four years ago, Donald has overseen a period of significant growth and success, culminating in last year’s Premier B Premiership and promotion back to the top flight.

A down-to-earth and respected leader, Donald’s ability to connect with the Old Trinity community and nurture the Club’s next generation of players and people has been second to none.

Beyond the field, Donald, alongside his daughter Sally, has also done an incredible job strengthening the Club’s off-field presence and connection with the broader OTGAFC community.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the McDonald family for their support and contribution to the Club through his time at Old Trinity. On behalf of the entire OTGAFC community, congratulations Donald on a wonderful tenure and an outstanding coaching career 💚💛
