With the season now complete and our Girls U17/18 team being crowned Sth East and State Champions, it becomes pivotal to sustain our momentum with our focus well and truly set on a big 2024.
The continuous expansion of the NCFC female football initiative remains a top priority for our club. In line with this objective, the coaching team and senior club leadership have engaged in extensive planning for the 2024 season and have outlined the following goals:
• Sustaining an existing U17/18 Girls program to accommodate our emerging younger players who will continue in this age bracket.
• Establishing a senior women's football team to forge a pathway for the senior members of our girls team (player payments to be introduced).
• Expanding the Miniroos program for girls aged 8-13 (headed by Michael Franza)
• Introducing Friday night matches to encompass a flexible and dynamic gameplay experience for players and supporters alike.
• Potentially expanding current training to include a third training session.
As the club endeavours to enhance and extend its female soccer program, we are appealing to broader NCFC Family to assist in disseminating news of our progress.
The triumphs witnessed in our female program over the past few years stands as a testament to the vibrant culture of the club, the dedication of our coaching staff and the unwavering support of parents. Together, we continue to elevate the club to even greater heights.
