JJ's High Performance

JJ's High Performance My name is Jack Grimes. I played 9 years at the Melbourne Football Club in the AFL, including three years as co-captain. Far bigger than it should be.

📈 Helping footballers at every level train smarter, perform better, and reach their peak.

Trusted by 3000+ players - be the next 👇🏼 While still playing, I opened my own personal training studio, where I coached everyone from first-timers to aspiring pro athletes. After my AFL career, I returned to local footy and it quickly became clear ju

st how big the gap is between local and elite levels when it comes to strength and conditioning. Too many players were working hard, but not seeing the results they deserved, not because of a lack of effort, but because that effort was going into the wrong areas. That’s when I set out to build something that would change the game for local-level footballers chasing their full potential. A platform that’s affordable, easy to use, and flexible enough to fit around school, work, or uni. I’ve been fortunate to learn from some of the best strength & conditioning coaches in the country. And I’ve leaned on those around me too, including my brother Dylan, who had a 13-year career at Richmond, earning three premierships and a Best & Fairest. Now, through the JJ’s app, I won’t just tell you what to do,
I’ll coach you through it.

Stop sending players behind the ball.

Club Package applications for 2027 are now open. Comment “CLUBLAND” and I’ll send you the full details and application link.

Last year, more than 100 clubs applied for just 10 spots.

This year, we have a bigger team, a better service and more clubs we can work with. But spots are still limited.

Applications are reviewed in the order they come in, so if your club is serious about improving in 2027, apply early.

Once the available spots are filled, applications will close until 2028.

And if you’re not a coach, president or committee member, but you know your club needs this, send this post to someone who can make it happen.

What’s not a proper reason to leave your football club 👇🏼

❌ 1️⃣ You’re not getting picked because there are players ahead of you.
This isn’t the time to blame the coach or anyone else. It’s the time to improve as a player to earn that spot. Get your game to a level where they can’t leave you out.

❌ 2️⃣ You’re being played “out of position.”
Sometimes you’re more valuable to the team in a different role. Not everyone gets to play their favourite position. Accept the challenge, embrace the opportunity and learn more about the game.

❌ 3️⃣ The team isn’t winning.
Everyone wants to win, but tough seasons are part of football. They can teach you resilience, leadership and how to keep performing when things aren’t going your way.

Legitimate reasons to leave 👇🏼

✅ 1️⃣ You feel unsafe, bullied or abused.
This should go without saying. If you feel unsafe or are being mistreated, leave immediately.

✅ 2️⃣ The club’s culture doesn’t align with your values.
Being pressured to drink, use illicit substances or behave in ways you’re uncomfortable with is not “just part of footy.” You should never feel forced to accept it.

✅ 3️⃣ The club’s training methods are genuinely limiting your development.
There’s some grey area here. But if your club spends every preseason running endless laps, refuses to evolve and provides little training that actually helps you improve as a footballer, it may be time to find a better environment.

Changing clubs can be the right decision.

Just don’t make it because you’re frustrated, disappointed or looking for someone else to blame.

Think it through properly.

More clearances. More contested possessions. More impact.

Do you agree?

Be honest… which player are you?

If your club doesn’t win more games with us, or finish higher on the ladder, you get your money back.

That’s how confident we are in this system.

Comment “CLUBLAND” to see how it works.

Applications open 3 August.

No worse feeling. But here’s what to do.

Are you more like Whitfield or Petracca?

21/07/2026

If your club reduces training volume the wrong way, you’ll hurt your finals chances more than help them.
