Marrickville FC The home of grassroots football for Sydney's inner west. A grassroots football club in Sydney's inner west, with competitions from U6 - All Age Seniors.

We run intra club competitions for U6 – U7. For competitions U8 and older we are associated with the Football Canterbury. We have girls and womens' teams from U8 – All Age, O35. Boys and mens' teams from U8 – All Age seniors with an over 45 competition.

As winners of the Under 10 Girls age group at the Sydney FC Kiama tournament, the girls were invited to the Sydney FC double header today.

They participated in a stadium lap, were in the tunnel ready to come out with the Women’s teams before lightning delay the start of the game, and also played a game at half time.

A wonderful reward for a remarkable season!

🚨 STEP UP TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE! 🚨

The Marrickville FC Red Devils are building our Mens and Womens Premier League Squads for the 2027 season, and Expressions of Interest are officially now OPEN! 🔱⚽️

We are on the hunt for dedicated, high-level male and female players (over 18 years old) to join our:

🔴 1st Grade Men’s Premier League Team

🔴 1st Grade Women’s Premier League Team

🔴 New Men’s Under 21s Team which will serve as our Men’s Premier League Reserve Grade and 1st Grade Pathway.

We encourage any current players of Marrickville FC or new players who would like to step up and play Premier League football in 2027 to register and attend the trials.

🗓 Trials: Kicking off this November 2nd at 7.00pm

⚠️ Positions Limited: Spots are strictly capped, so don’t leave it to the last minute!

4H4NN4H: Butterflies & Restless Nights Album Launch

In May this year, our community experienced the unexpected and heartbreaking loss of Hannah Teklic. Hannah was a much-loved part of the Marrickville FC community, and her loss has been deeply felt by those who knew her.

On Friday 13th November, Hannah’s dad, Ivan, will be sharing something very special with the launch of Butterflies & Restless Nights, an album created in celebration of Hannah.

Performing as 4H4NN4H, Ivan has worked tirelessly to bring this project to life. The album launch is an opportunity for the community to come together, remember Hannah and show support for Ivan and Wasima.

The evening will feature live music, vocals and sax, with performances by Diana M, 4H4NN4H, Nikki Erdos and Orget Sadiku, followed by a DJ set later in the night.

Everyone is welcome, and entry is free. Kids are welcome too.

Last night while the competition was being played, our equipment was vandalised!

Three equipment trolleys had the pins taken out of the wheels and all 12 wheels were deflated.

The trolleys were situated under the light tower near fields 19, 20 & 21. The incident happened between 6.30-8.30pm.

We ask if anyone has information or saw any activity in this area to please contact [email protected]

The vandalism of competition equipment impacts your competition as we may be forced to cancel games.

Marrickville FC is holding trials for the 2027 Selective Development Program starting on 6th November 2026 at Mackey Park.

The trials will be for teams from Under 8 to Under 18s, with divisions determined by Football Canterbury. Positions may be limited for some age groups.

The Inner West Council held a BBQ for Multiculturalism at Ashfield Park yesterday. An event where the community stood together, making everyone feel welcome!

Bill and Georgie represented Marrickville FC and joined many other community leaders on stage. Football Canterbury and the Clubs of the Inner West were all in attendance.

Congratulations to Anthony Williams who was the 2026 Cec Barlow Recipient for Marrickville FC.

Anthony started as a coach in under 6s in 2015. Since then he has coached numerous teams including the Clubs Development teams.

In 2020 Anthony was elected to the Board of Marrickville FC as the Communications Director. Anthony moved the club over to Square, updated the club website and emails, introduced the new online booking system for training and so much more.

Anthony is an asset to the Red Devils!!!
