It’s been some time since I’ve been on here and this is why.

However, I wanted to share this now as The Royal Marsden is hugely important to our family and we would be grateful for any donation, large or small, that you can afford.

It’s 11 weeks to go and then the 3 of us will be walking 15 miles in support of The Royal Marsden, a world leading cancer charity, to raise funds to provide the best care and life-saving treatments for families like us.

Thank you to you all for your support this year!

It’s not been the easiest year for me personally and I have been a bit quieter on social media as a result.

Rest assured I am still here though, putting into practice all the techniques I have been teaching to reduce stress and navigate the ups and downs of life.

In 2023, I look forward to continuing to serve you all. I will be taking a more personalised approach to my offerings, focusing on bespoke sessions to individuals, smaller groups, corporates and schools. Please get in touch to see how I can serve you.

📚 Study time 📚

Studying online is hard!! Don’t get me wrong, I love learning and every year I treat myself to a new yoga/meditation training to expand and deepen my knowledge so I can bring this knowledge into my practice and share it with others (aka YOU!).

I discovered yoga as a way to manage my stress - physical and mental - and as a mum to 2 teens I am deeply motivated to help young people (and adults!) better manage their stress.

Being surrounded by my family (albeit in photos) and with words that motivate and inspire me helps me stay focused and motivated. A cup of tea also helps 🫖😀

If you have an adolescent in your life that could benefit from lowering their feelings of stress and overwhelm, I teach mindfulness based stress reduction techniques (MBSR) to individuals, schools and groups. Get in touch to find out how I can help you or your school.

🚶🏼Mindful Walking 🌸

Today is such a beautiful spring day it was hard not to notice and delight in nature’s gifts on my walk this morning.

I took many photos of the beautiful flowers bursting forth and this was one of them.

Next time you head out, I challenge you to take at least 5 photos of things you have never noticed before. Try this everyday for a week and you will be surprised how many new things you see.

In celebration of spring, my next spring themed workshop will be on April 3. Join me to learn some practices - somatic, yoga and breathing - to support you in this season so you too can blossom like this beautiful flower into your fullest expression of being.

❄️Yin Yoga for Winter - my first seasonal workshop of the year❄️

It certainly feels like winter has arrived and what a beautiful frosty morning it was this morning!

No need to face the cold and darkness if you don’t want to though! You can join me from the warmth and comfort of your own home to spend 2 hours wrapped in a blanket (optional!), honouring this time of pause and treating yourself to a moment of deep rest and rejuvenation with yin yoga poses, mindful breathing and relaxation.

You will leave this practice feeling rested, revived and at ease.

You can find me easing my way back into teaching this week at The Lensbury Club on Tuesdays and Fridays with school classes heading back next week.
