The 🔑 to success now lies in the palm of your hand. Quite literally, you’re holding your phone & this post has the answers you seek.

Regardless of your goal or expertise on training, we can all use a nudge in the right direction, or the comforting reassurance that we’re doing the right thing.

I hope this post can be that for you.

The questions I get asked most frequently in regards to nutrition are “how do I set my macros?”, & “which calculator is the best?”.

In regards to calorie calculators, they’re all accurate enough to get you on the board. Whether your goal is weight loss or gain.

The secret to becoming precise with your nutrition is simple:

🔑 Set your macros using whichever calculator.
🔑 Hit the macros it tells you consistently for weeks/months.
🔑 Observe the trend of data & adjust - if you need to go up go up, if you need to go down go down (in regards to calories).

Most importantly is identifying where you’re at currently. Majority of my clients under-eat & would still see weight loss by eating more. If the calculator says to add X amount of calories & it’s a big jump from where you’re at, a Reverse Diet is highly recommended to avoid rapid weight gain.

To reiterate the home run ⚾️: realise that calculators are, at best, your best guess. They serve as a general starting point for you to track trends & make changes over time for YOU. They do not know EXACTLY how much you should be eating/burning.

Be consistent.

Stay Buff,

B.

has made huge strides with her deadlifts! First time back & hitting 70kg (her old PR) for 3 reps!

Not only has she become stronger, but also far more technically proficient. Her Anterior Pelvic Tilt has improved IMMENSELY, her MASSIVE curvature of her lower spine has improved, as has her general hip/lower back issues from the past. All thanks to consistent Physio appointments to address weaknesses.

Well done lil sis, the road to 100kg has been brought forward!

We interrupt your regularly scheduled program to bring you the slap in the face you’ve been needing.

Not many of you here are delicate snowflakes, so I won’t treat you as such. This post is vulgar, direct & it’s purpose is to serve as that kick in the ass you’ve been needing since you made NeW YeArS ReSolUtIOnS back in 2019 & never committed because gyms kept shutting down.

You’re excuses for waiting so you had the “perfect” program & access to machines isn’t valid anymore. Everyone had the opportunity to purchase equipment - even if it was from Kmart or Big W.

And if you didn’t, well, you sure as hell could’ve avoided the “Covid Kilos” by eating better and walking whenever it wasn’t pi***ng down here in Melbourne.

Don’t get stuck trying to make the “best” program possible.
The best program in the world won’t do s**t for you if you never start.

Start basic, start small, start slowly. It doesn’t matter, just be consistent.

This isn’t me being counterproductive & saying you don’t need a trainer to tell you what to do. The service I provide is of great value that has yet to fail at yielding results.

This is me reigniting that spark inside you that went dormant months ago. Stop chasing perfect & just start.

Peace & love,

- Bryce ✌🏼

Results aren’t just what you see in the mirror, and nor should they be attached exclusively to physical changes.

For you, it might be saying ‘NO’ to that extra slice of pizza on the weekend.

It might be saying ‘YES’ to that pizza & not feeling guilty afterwards.

It might be that you’ve actually stuck to going to the gym consistently for weeks/months without quitting.

THAT’S progress. Those are the “results” gained from your hard work, & that mental shift necessary to get here.

Being able to reflect on your journey - not just your new abs in the mirror - that’s progress.

Celebrate. Every. Win.

PR for weight & reps 🤘🏼 177.5x4 with 1-2 left in the tank that I would’ve attempted had the plate not fallen off.

I’m 4 weeks deep into a cut. 5kg down and I added 7.5kg to the bar after not deadlifting for about a month or so.

Sorry for the ridiculous grunt at the end, needed to amp up. 😂

A diet isn’t a punishment.

Small changes = big wins!

My job isn’t just training you once a week. It’s educating my clients on the psychology of food, making better decisions & not feeling guilty after indulging.

If you’re in need of guidance around eating & training, get in touch & I’ll take care of the rest.

How many times have you tried & failed?

How often do you find yourself feeling frustrated at a lack of results & having to restart?

The problem you have is trying to change too many things at once.

Your goal shouldn’t require a massive shift in your lifestyle. You shouldn’t need to cut things out cold turkey.

Health & fitness should become a part of your life, your life shouldn’t be consumed by your goal.

Learn how to enjoy your favourite foods and still hit your macros. Be able to go out with friends & eat s**t without feeling guilty.

Physical & psychological changes are HUGE wins. Celebrate the wins. If this sounds like you, or something you want; DM me & we can create the best plan of action for you.

170x4 RIR 2. Worthy of a post here IMHO.

My deads have come an extremely long way. From back surgery, to passing out, to PRs every week. This is the cherry on top 🍒
First time using mixed grip & still started losing my grip on the last 2 reps & held on by literal finger tips!

Now time to deload before heading into a cut for the next 3 months, and then into a dedicated hypertrophy block.

You NEED a needs analysis. If you fail to write one, your training & dieting is essentially based on you shooting in the dark.

You’ve no idea if you’re hitting the target. And I’m sure you’re frustrated by putting in consistent effort and seeing no change.

This can be easily averted by creating a needs analysis. What exercises/amount of days you train/ food choices etc. do you NEED to be doing to achieve your goal?

Emotions shouldn’t dictate this. It should go without saying that you CAN enjoy the process, but if your enjoyment sacrifices actual results, somethings off.

If you have no idea what you need to do, let’s have a chat and I’ll make that decision effortless for you.
