Taylors Lakes Cricket Club was established in 1982, originally the Swans the club is now known as the Lions and proudly wears the blue and gold colours.

It currently fields teams in the VSDCA & NWMCA

TLCC is delighted to announce and welcome Mayank (Mick) Sharma to Lionheart for the 2026/27 season. Mayank is an all-rounder who joins us from Laverton CC, where he played in their 2025/26 premiership side and was the club’s champion player last season, taking 43 wickets and scoring 230 runs.

He has also played @ Point Cook and Point Cook Centrals as well as the Northern Raiders (Warrnambool Cricket Association). Mayank is a big game player and has twice been awarded Player of the Match awards in Grand Finals, one with the Northern Raiders CC and the other with Laverton CC.

Mayank will be part of the Men's Program coaching staff and will play a role with mentoring our young fast bowlers.

Great to have you onboard Mayank, we welcome you to Taylors Lakes CC!

It is with equal parts of sadness and pride that we advise that Nilan Fernando will not be playing with Taylors Lakes in season 2026/27. Instead Nilan will be chasing his Premier Cricket dream and will be plying his trade at Greenvale Kangaroos Cricket Club, in the upcoming season.

Nilan who is a dual club Champion Player (Charlie Attard medallist), a proud laker and not to mention the fact that he is a great club man, will be missed on the field and off it. However, he will continue as the Coach of our JG Craig Shield team in season 2026/27, further building on his coaching credentials and connections with TLCC.

We wish Nilan the best of luck at Greenvale and look forward to catching up with him at various stages over the summer at Lionheart. Nilan and Rue are an extremely important component of the TLCC culture and as such will always be welcome at their home away from home.

Shijit has put pen to paper and extended his stay at Lionheart Reserve. Shijit's stability with the bat in our middle order was extremely important in our most recent campaign, he also played a big role with the ball chiming in with some very handy wickets with his offspin.

We are delighted to announce that our reigning Club Champion Chali Chamoda has agreed to terms and will once again play for Taylors Lakes in season 2026/27. Chali had a fantastic 2025/26 with both the bat and the ball, we look forward to some more exciting cricket from him next season.

Congratulations Chali, you are a fan favourite, and you were also a massive part of our success in 2025/26, a huge re-commitment signing for the Lakes!

The Taylors Lakes CC is delighted to announce that Steff Roberts has officially re-signed and will again wear the blue and gold in season 2026/27.

The skipper had an outstanding 2025/26 season finishing as the club's leading run scorer in a season that saw him also score his maiden ton for the club.

His leadership and competitiveness were a huge part of our success in season 2025/26 and we are looking forward to an even better 2026/27 campaign from the "Muna".

There was a huge contingent of Taylors Lakes representatives at the VSDCA Hatch Dinner on Thursday 21st May, the club was bestowed with the following awards on the night:
- Division One 4th XI Premiership.
- 2nd XI Player of the Year (James Earl Trophy), Winner Xavier Holt.
- 3rd XI Division 1 Player of the Year (William Tucknott Trophy, Winner Samuel Domazetovski.
Also special mention to Chris Bui and Tynan Arnold, who were joint runners up in the 4th XI Division 1 Player of the Year (Ted Plant Medal), only 3 votes behind the winner.

A huge congratulations to Kris and his team, and from a personal perspective to Xavier, Sam (Donk), Chris and Tynan.

Well done Lakes on a sensational 2025/26 season.
