We Love The Sport Of Reining

"Many of you may have heard the song We Love the Sport of Reining, at the Hi Form Water Wheel Reining Classic a few weeks ago. I wrote this song originally with GVRHA in mind, but when I played it to Meri she thought it would make a great anthem for Reining and a way to promote the sport even more.

You might like to know why I wrote the song? There are a number of reasons but mostly it was due to my growing love of the sport, reining is very different to dressage. The lyrics in the song pretty much tell you my reasons, the friendships, the support, the fun, the speed (although I’m still working on that one), the complete trust in your beautiful horse that truly does carry you through and the love of this magnificent animal.
So many have made a commitment to this sport because we love it, I love it!

I would love everyone to support the song, my aim is to reach 1000 plays and my plan is to donate a % of my royalties to Reining.

Finally a thank you to GVRHA for playing my song every time I did a run at the show, this meant the world to me. I think Tom knows the song now. ❤️

Hi Everyone! We hope you are all rested and recovered from such a huge show week at the GVRHA Hi Form Water Wheel Reining Classic!

Just a couple of follow ups :)

For those who extended their stays please contact [email protected] to finalise your additional camping and stabling $, including day stable bookings that became overnighters! Tatura Park will be invoicing GVRHA this week so we need to get this completed asap.

Missing items - an 30' Air Flex Roper girth was taken from the Buy Swap and Sell table at the show office - please contact Jess Steen to arrange payment.

A black SM Country jumper was taken from the white fencing during the Derby on Saturday night - please contact Jhi Watts to arrange its return if you accidently picked it up.

And from Hi Form - "Thank you to GVRHA for an amazing week we will share a special long post in the next few days. In the meantime we had three products displayed in the presentation area located on the water wheel next to our sign. EquiGesic, HerbaNerve and DeTox, however during Saturday they went missing. Perhaps someone thought they were samples if that was the case could you please return them to us thank you so much."
