We’ve been advised that there have been several reported cases of Pertussis (Whooping Cough) connected to other teams who attended the recent Wangaratta basketball tournament.

If you or your family were at the event — whether as players, coaches, or spectators — please stay alert for any symptoms such as:
🤧 Persistent cough
😮‍💨 Difficulty breathing
🌡️ Fever or fatigue

If anyone in your household develops these symptoms, seek medical advice promptly and let your healthcare provider know about your recent attendance at the tournament.

Our Under 14 and 18 boys headed off to Wangaratta tournament yesterday. The 14 boys won 3 games yesterday and lost by 1 point this morning but had a fantastic tournament. The 18 boys won 2 and lost 1 yesterday and have 1 more game today. Good luck boys!

You may be eligible for up to $200 to put towards the cost of your child’s participation in sport and active recreation activities.

The Get Active Kids Voucher Program helps eligible families get their kids involved in organised sport and active recreation activities by providing financial support for the cost of membership and registration fees.

Eligible children may be able to receive up to $200 each.
Special consideration also applies for children residing in care services as well as temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants or international students.

If you've not yet registered, select 'Get a Voucher', once received, present your voucher at the checkout on PlayHQ or provide to your club/Association when registering and your fee will be discounted by up to $200.
