Thanks to everyone who came along for opening day and made the day a success, was good to get an intraclub game under the belt in testing conditions. Kitchen, Bar and everyone who chipped in with special mention to a few of the new members Griffo, Kaz and Brett who whipped lunch on the bbq!

We saw some more club pairs games played with Dave/Macca Def Steve/Mike and Peter T/Kev Def John F/Ray. Both winners now advance to semi finals of men’s pairs.

🦈🦈 This Week 🦈🦈

Wednesday sees the start of our triples season. Looking forward to seeing plenty of familiar faces out there enjoying the triples season. We will be having the accumulative points during the season on top of the great weekly cash prizes 💰

Thursday training kicks off at 4pm again, great numbers last week and looking forward to that momentum continuing.

Friday funday, come down for a roll, bar open, members draw and nibbles.

Saturday 10am intraclub game again before our first scheduled practice match vs Mirboo North away the following week (19th Sept)

Men’s/Ladies/Mixed pairs all well underway please continue to look to push through these games as best you can the next few weeks

Men’s Singles: Sign up sheet will be up for another couple of weeks up until the live draw which will be held following the One Bowl 4s Tournament on AFL Grand Final Eve. Shaping up to be a really competitive club championship this season for the men and will provide plenty of quality games along the way. Please be mindful of dates for each round on the signup sheet as this event must be completed by due date as the winner will advance to Champion Of Champions.

This Saturday (5th September) Intra Club game 10am which should be very good viewing, followed by a free bbq. Bar Open all day, AFL game on the tv at 3pm

Come along and help us kick start the season in style!

The sign up sheet is now posted on the notice board. Dates are on there also, 2 week window for each round. Entry’s taken up to September 25th when the draw will be done live in the club rooms.

🦈🦈🦈 Training Thursday 🦈🦈🦈

The first of our training sessions kicks off this Thursday (3rd September) at 4pm and will be focused on pennant play. Looking at forming those connections and understanding how all members of potential rinks play and learn about each other so we can get the most out of each other as the season progresses. Be great to see you all there both Saturday and Tuesday players.

The boys went 5/5 at the Deni 4s tournament to finish in 3rd place out of 42 teams. Everyone played there roll and put bowls in when needed. Special mention to Marty who looks at home in those colours.

🦈🦈 Coaching 🦈🦈

Please note that this Sunday 30th there will be no coaching on. Be great to see a few down practicing the drills that have been taught thus far while Jenny is away hopefully winning the Joy Johnson tournament.

Best of luck also to our Sharks off to Deniliquin this weekend hoping to put in a strong performance up there.
