Nancy carries exceptional bloodlines renowned for performance. Out of the successful eventing pony Glenormiston Rosalie and sired by Achill Fiddler. Nancy's siblings are all highly successful dressage and jumping ponies.
Owned since a weanling, she was handled extensively as a youngster then professionally broken to saddle and competed prep dressage. As planned, she then gave us two lovely filly foals (one AI frozen, and one live cover). Nancy was also brilliant to take out in hand being awarded Champion Connemara Mare in good company at the December 2023 Vic APSB show. Both her foals are being retained.
We have found Nancy to have an honest temperament and I've even got on her ba****ck after not being ridden for several years. In fairness to demonstrate her potential, she is now back in routine ridden work, and as predicted, she has returned to where she left off 4 years ago after only a handful of rides. She has a straightforward ride with basics established, ground covering movement, natural self carriage and is improving each ride with fitness. She will suit a capable competition home to continue her education and exposure, or being an easy breeder, is equally suited to an approved stud home.
Genuine enquiries are welcomed for this special mare. I have changed my mind several times about parting with her and I'll be selective to ensure the right match rider / home if I do!
