🏁 WE’RE BACK! 🏁

The off-season is over and it’s finally time to go racing! 💥

This weekend we kick off the 2027 Australian Formula Powerboat Grand Prix Championship at Dargle, with Brandon back behind the wheel of TWOSIX for Round 1.

A huge field of 20 Formula GP boats is set to hit the water, promising an action-packed weekend from the very first race. We’ve put in the work over the break and can’t wait to see what the new season brings.

🏁 Dargle Race Weekend Recap 🏁

What a way to wrap up the GP Series for the year!

GP Series

Practice went well with a solid run.
Unfortunately, Qualifying was cut short after only 3 laps when a fuel fitting came loose.
Sprint Race 1 was a good, consistent run.
Reverse Grid race was another strong run, bringing home 3rd place.
Main Race started perfectly and the boat felt the best it had all weekend, but unfortunately the fuel fitting came loose again, ending our charge.

Despite the setbacks, we finished the GP Series 6th Overall for the year. A great result for Brandon’s first season in the boat and plenty to build on moving forward.

Dargle Australian Championship Racing

🚤 Unlimited Outboard Championship

Qualified 1st in Heat 1 and the boat felt the best it ever has.
Made the final against all the Unlimited boats with my little GP engine, which was a huge achievement.

🚤 2.5 Carby Australian Championship

Qualified 2nd in Heat 2.
Unfortunately, the final wasn’t our day, with some engine dramas causing a loss of power and the boat just wasn’t 100%.

🚤 Unlimited Outboard Final Qualifier

The boat wasn’t quite right, so we made the call to pull out after Lap 1 rather than risk further damage.

A massive thank you to my crew Jake, Matt, Jack, Lucy and Haylee, and everyone else who stuck around all weekend cheering on TwoSix. Racing is never a one-person effort, and we couldn’t do it without the people behind it.

What an incredible season it’s been for Brandon and the TwoSix team!

Heading into the final round of the 2026 Australian Formula Powerboat Grand Prix at Dargle, Brandon sits 7th in the championship standings out of a field of 27 boats, an outstanding achievement in his first season of tunnel boat racing. 👏🔥

With Dargle being home water, we’re excited to see what Brandon can do as he looks to finish his campaign on a high and make one final charge up the standings.

🔥 DRIVER SPOTLIGHT – BRANDON CROPPER | TWOSIX 🔥

Brandon Cropper has had an outstanding rookie season with Twosix Racing, putting himself firmly in the conversation for Rookie of the Year.

Currently sitting 7th on the championship leaderboard, Brandon has been one of the standout performers of 2026. In a field of 27 boats, to be running inside the Top 10 — let alone 7th — in your first season of tunnel boat racing is an incredible achievement. 👏🚤

And heading into the FINAL ROUND at the Dargle Winter Spectacular, there’s another factor at play…

With a large portion of the field made up of Hawkesbury locals, this is water many know extremely well. So the question is — what advantage will that bring for Brandon? 👀

With confidence high and momentum on his side, Brandon will be looking to finish his rookie campaign in style — and potentially make a final push even further up the standings. 🔥

Brandon hit the water strong with some solid results:

Saturday threw us a curveball when we blew a motor — massive thanks to Daz for having another one ready to go and getting us back out there. Absolute legend 👊

FRIDAY UPDATE ✌🏼

Our first practice run, we had a few motor dramas - boys got it fixed 🙌🏼

Second practice, we got plenty of laps in 👏🏼

Following into the night we took TWOSIX to the Show & Shine at Gol Gol - All the little kids loved it!!
