What a fantastic weekend!

A huge thank you to everyone who travelled near and far to be part of the Barossa & Districts Badminton Carnival. It was wonderful to see great matches, plenty of laughs, and such a strong sense of community on and off the court.

A special thank you to our volunteers, whose hard work behind the scenes keeps everything running smoothly — we couldn’t do it without you.

And to our sponsors and supporters, thank you for your generosity and for helping us create such a memorable event.

We hope you all enjoyed the weekend — and maybe even found a little time to enjoy the Barossa along the way 😉

A few items were left behind at The Rex following the Barossa & Districts Badminton Carnival.

If you spot something that belongs to you, please send us a message and we’ll arrange to get it back to you.

🏸🍷 This Weekend – We’re Ready! 🍷🏸

The Barossa & Districts Badminton Carnival is just about here — and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to the Barossa!

A few quick reminders for players:
⏰ Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd May.
Arrive by 8:30am - Play starts 9:00am sharp
📍 The Rex, Tanunda - https://www.barossarfc.com.au
🏸 We’ll finish around 3:00pm each day — plenty of time to enjoy the Barossa

🎒 Bring your racket, water and snacks (canteen available with limited food — but great coffee ☕😉)

🍽 Saturday Night Dinner – The Vine Inn
If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, we still have room for more, so feel free to join us — just let us know!

Not long now — here’s everything you need to know for the weekend!

🏸 **Play starts at 9:00am sharp**
📍 Please arrive at **The Rex, Tanunda by 8:30am**

This will give you time to:
• Meet your team
• Warm up
• Get ready for a great day on court

🎒 **What to Bring**
• Racket & appropriate shoes
• Water bottle
• Snacks / lunch
• A sense of humour 😄

🥪 **Canteen**
There will be a canteen on site with **limited food options**, so we recommend bringing your own snacks/lunch.

☕ **Good news — they do great coffee!**

The countdown is on — just ONE WEEK until the Barossa & Districts Badminton Carnival!

We’re putting the final touches together and can’t wait to welcome everyone for a weekend of great badminton, plenty of laughs and a little Barossa indulgence 😉
