After an amazing weekend of hockey and a fabulous Rump & Red event, this weekend it's Heritage Round.

Our seniors will be wearing our retro blue shirts for games against our old rival Nuriootpa.

The day kicks off with almost all our junior teams playing Nuriootpa, before the seniors hit the pitch in the afternoon.

With Tanunda on canteen duty, it's a great excuse to hang around and enjoy a bite to eat.

Are you ready for a busy weekend of Magpie hockey?

The weekend kicks off early with the B Men playing their first game of the weekend against Nuri at Stockwell tonight.

On Friday night, our A Men head out to Stockwell to play Gawler, in what will no doubt be an exciting game.

Saturday morning is a slightly later start and a week off for the Under 8s who played at training.

All of our juniors will be out at Stockwell, including the Under 10s who will get to enjoy some grass hockey fun.

Saturday night is our much anticipated Rump & Red event which is shaping up to be an awesome night of food, drinks and fun.

And then on Sunday, it's back out to Stockwell where the B Women kick off an afternoon of hockey against AMU. They're joined by the A Women, C Men 🐢and the B Men backing up for their second game in 4 days.

Well done to Tanunda players Harvey and Henry on making the Under 15 North West Rangers team.

Well done to our Tanunda players who represented the Barossa at the Junior Country Championships over the long weekend.

Here are some of the Under 18s players.

Hugo, Kaiden (top goal scorer to go with a nasty cut on his head) and Xavier who played in the grand final. It was a tough game against Port Lincoln/Whyalla, with Kaiden out most of the second half, but the boys did well to hold them to 2-1.

Well done to the girls, who went down in the semi-final.
