Our internet and phone went down some time over Christmas. We eventually got the internet back on, somewhat, but as of 19 January, STILL waiting for our phone to be fixed. So much for 24/7 attention for a business!! SO tired of listening to empty promises from difficult-to-understand "team members".

Please all be wary. I just got a message from a FB friend asking for my phone number, which I provided. She then said she had been trying to log into FB from her new phone and FB Help were asking for a number where someone would receive a code for her. This raised a red flag, since she would have plenty of family who would do this for her. So I asked her for security, to give me her mobile number so I could call her and verify everything before I give a code for access to her account. I got another message asking if I got the code. Strangely, I didn't get the code, and didnlt hear back from 'her'. So as well as being aware of what potential hackers may get up to, please also be aware of someone who may now pretend to be me by my phone number.

Urgent attention for all Homeschooling families! (Please pass on if you know of any).

Plea from George Christensen:
The Queensland Government has a bill before Parliament that undermines homeschooling.
It's so bad we call it the Anti-Homeschooling bill.

That bill undermines homeschooling and homeschooling families by: increasing paperwork and reporting requirements to ridiculous levels for homeschooling families; forcing homeschooling families to teach to the WOKE national curriculum; and having undefined and suspicious provisions that require homeschooling to be done in the "best interests" of the child with "safety" and "wellbeing" in mind.

The ultimate aim of the Anti-Homeschooling bill (officially called the Education (General Provisions) and Other Legislation Bill 2024) is to dissuade families from homeschooling and force the ones who will still homeschool to conform to the type of teaching that most homeschooling parents don't want for their children.

I only had a vague idea of what 'cloud seeding' and 'chemtrails' were - until I listened to this video. WOW, this has been going on for so long; much longer than most people realize! I went to watch The Trust Fall today. This is an amazingingly well done documentary, not just on the disgusting treatment of a brilliant journalist, but an eye opener on what the some organizations, in particular, the US gov, will do to cover up their lies and deceit.
If you get a chance, go and check it out. Presently showing at Gladstone Cinemas. If you are not already, you will become aware of just how much our freedom of speech is being seriously threatened, and has already been significantly curtailed.

Amidst the turbulent tides, the struggle is real for the commercial fishing industry. Battling quotas, environmental concerns, and market fluctuations, they're the unsung heroes.

The immediate future of the wild-catch commercial fishing industry and supply of fresh local seafood to consumers is under threat.

I'm calling on Labor Governments to do the following:

- Remove the proposed restrictions on fishing announced by Federal and State Fisheries Ministers in June 2023, including those relating to gillnet fishing and restrictions in the Gulf.

- Restore the Spanish mackerel total allowable commercial catch and bag/boat limits for recreational anglers to 50% of the 2022-23 values while reviewing the science behind the reduced 2023-24 quota and catch limits imposed by the Palaszczuk Labor Government.

- Suspend imposition of further restrictions and monitoring on professional fishers and recreational anglers while reviewing Queensland fisheries policy, seafood supply and regional economics.
