Boyne Tannum Bullets Swim Club We are an all year round sport. Our Swimmers are 4 years+. We aim to develop and prepare swimmers for competive swimming thoughtout CQ.

We focus on technical skills of all form stokes, progression to State/National level competition and having FUN!!!

[AUSTRALIAN AGE CHAMPIONSHIPS] Day 8

8th and final day on pool deck for our Bullets! 🏊‍♂️💥💙

Kayden wrapped up his week with a strong swim in the B final of the 50 fly, finishing 17th in his age group, a solid effort to close out his campaign! 🦋🔥

In the same event, Hayden placed 29th in the 18-year-old category after the morning heats 💪
Abbey delivered a great race in the 100 free, finishing 59th, she couldn’t quite match her PB today, but she fought hard and held her form beautifully 🌊✨

Now it’s time for a well‑earned rest for all of them 😴👏
What an experience, one that will no doubt fuel bigger goals, sharper focus, and even more hunger for next time! 🚀🔥

Another good day for our Bullets! 🔥💙🩷

Abbey smashed her 50 fly today, dropping half a second off her PB and finishing 40th in the 14 years! ⚡🦋 Absolute ripper swim!

Hayden delivered a brilliant 100 free 👊🏼 strong, committed, and his second‑best time ever! 💪🏊‍♂️
What a fight! He will be in the B Final tonight!

Kayden was back in action too with the 100 free, getting close to his PB and finishing 39th. Great to see him back on the move! 🚀💦

Huge congrats to all of them: such grit, such spirit 👏🔥

[AUSTRALIAN AGE CHAMPIONSHIPS] Day 6

6th day in and our Bullets are still firing strong! 💥💙🩷

Liam kicked things off this morning with a brilliant 200 Back. A super controlled first 100m set him up beautifully, and even though the back end hurt, he held his lead right to the wall. New PB and 19th in the 16-year-olds, Awesome effort ! 💪🫶

Kayden made the smart call to skip the 400 free and 100 breast today, taking a well‑earned rest after pushing himself to the limit yesterday. A good recharge before the final push 🔋😌

To wrap up the day, our girls (Abbey, Kelsie, Jaz, Mia) put on an absolute show in the relay tonight! 🤩🔥
A massive team effort saw them drop more than a full second off their entry time, with Mia smashing her PB 🚀. Watching them race together, fight for each other, and proudly fly the club colours at such a high‑level meet was nothing short of grandiose. They climbed a few spots and finished 35th, Sensational! 🙌🌟

Huge congrats to everyone!

We’ll be back on deck tomorrow morning with Hayden, Kayden and Abbey in the heats.

🎉 Another brilliant day for our Bullets, proudly flying the club colours! 💙🩷💥

• Liam kicked off with a solid 24.89 in the 50 Free, placing 60th. ⚡️
• Abbey smashed a PB in the 100 Fly with 1:07.66, finishing 36th 💪🏼 awesome swim! 🦋🔥
• Kelsie went out very hot, even hitting her best 50 Fly split on the way through her 100! That early burst made the back end tough, but she still clocked 1:12.20 (59th) and gained valuable experience 💪🌊
• Kayden powered into the 200 Fly final with a strong 2:03.68, then finished 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 4th Australian (17 yrs) in the final. No PB tonight, but a massive effort and a gutsy race. 🥵🦋💥

A huge congratulations to all of them : great racing, great attitude, great team spirit! 🙌🐬

Tomorrow we’re back with Liam on the 200 Back and our Girls 4×50 Free Relay in the night !

Liam kicked things off with a PB in the 100 backstroke, smashing that first 50 with real intent 💥 Solid signs, and the work keeps rolling to sharpen that back‑end speed. He finishes 30th in the 16‑year‑olds 💪🏼 great effort!

Then it was the girls’ turn, diving into their very first race of the meet with the 50 free ⚡️ A cracking little showdown between Jaz and Kelsie, with Kelsie taking the edge and dropping a new PB! 🚀
Kelsie 32th, Jaz 56th for the 13 years old girls.

Abbey’s race was a touch under what she can do, but it got her into the rhythm of the competition. She’ll be back tomorrow for the 100 fly and ready to send it 🦋✨

Kayden stepped out of the 200 breaststroke today to recharge properly before the 200 fly tomorrow 👌🏼 smart move and all eyes on the big one 👀🔥

Two swimmers hit the blocks today! 💥🏊‍♂️💙

🤗 Kayden opened the day with the 200 IM, and after a cracking start that had him on track for a new PB, he couldn’t quite hold the pace through the back end. He finishes 14th, just missing the final tonight, still a gutsy effort! 🔥💪

Hayden wrapped up the 50 Free in 24.58 (PB 24.26), placing 44th. A well‑managed race with a bit of tension at the end, but still his second‑best time ever! ⚡️🌊

Tomorrow it’s the girls’ turn with the 50 Free and 100 Back for Liam 🔥 big day ahead! 💥

A second day wrapped in silver vibes! 🥈🔥

After a 3rd place in the heats, a few smart adjustments and a whole lot of determination, Kayden smashed his way to 2nd place in the 17yrs 100 Fly with a new PB of 54.76!
Huge effort 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼well done💥

On his side, Hayden had a quieter start with a 100 Fly below his usual form in 58.24 (PB 57.02), finishing 30th. But he bounced back beautifully with a strong 1:56.55 (PB) in the 200 Free, landing him in 13th place! 💪🌊

Massive congrats to both boys 👊🏼 great grit, great racing! 👏💙

Now onto Day 3 tomorrow, with Hayden and Kayden back in action! ⚡️🏊‍♂️🔥

[AUSTRALIAN AGE CHAMPIONSHIPS] Day 1

A bit of a tough start for our team today 😬

Only two swimmers hit the water

🏊🏽 Kayden, still battling illness 🤒, had to pull out to focus on recovery before one of his main events tomorrow.
🏊🏽 Liam kicked off strong in the 50m backstroke 💦 he dominated the race but clipped the lane rope about 5m before the finish 🧵😫.
🤷🏼‍♂️ That little slip cost him some time and a spot in tonight’s final. ☝🏽At this level, every detail counts!
Despit this, He clocked a solid PB of 28.54 🔥👏 a great sign for the rest of his racing week 🚀💪

💦Kelsie, Abbey and Hayden had a training session to prepare their first event tomorrow for Hayden and Tuesday for the girls.
Jaz and Mia are still at home and are getting ready to start racing on Tuesday and Thursday 💪🏼
