At The Studio we use this as an opportunity to put our devices down and focus on face to face conversations in our waiting area for one week.

Students please leave your device at home or hand it to Miss Nikkii at reception who will keep it safe. You can go to Miss Nikkii if you need to contact your parents and you can also discuss your homework options with her if you require a device for that.

That’s a wrap on The Yellow Brick Road to Oz 🌈

A big congratulations to all the dancers who took to the stage at the TRECC this weekend. We are so proud of all the students and were blown away that 824 people came to watch our show!! Thank you!!

How awesome is dance!!??

The biggest thank you to the studio staff, graduates and parents who spent countless hours backstage this weekend supervising, problem solving and working to make sure everything went according to plan. Dance concerts simply would not be possible without an entire village of people working together to make it happen.

A special shoutout to our Part-Time Musical Theatre Program who led the production with such professionalism. You did us so proud!

This production was directed by our very own Miss Keira who did an amazing job. Congratulations Miss Keira and congratulations to our teachers who took a tale like this and did it well with a twist 👏👏 xx

Congratulations to Ella Uerata who will be graduating from The Studio this year 💗

Ella has been dancing since she was 8 and over the years has continued to make dance a special part of her life.

Ella is kind, resilient and hard working. Dance has led her to some beautiful friends and lifelong memories.

In 2027 Ella will be taking a gap year to work and travel before deciding what’s next for her.

We are so proud of you Ella and so glad that dance has been part of your story 💗

Congratulations to Kierra Thompson who will be graduating from The Studio this year 💚

Kierra has been dancing for 10 years and has represented us at many events. In 2023 she performed at the opening of the Business Awards and in 2025 she was a featured dancer at the TCMF.

Kierra is warm, kind and dedicated. Over the years it has been a pleasure watching her confidence grow and her friendships blossom.

In 2027 Kierra will become a qualified hairdresser and will begin studying for her Diploma in Beauty. Her warmth and kindness will be a gift to every workplace she is part of 💚

We are so proud of you, Kierra. Thank you for sharing your love of dance with us for the past 10 years.

Congratulations to Ellaura Mackay who will be graduating from The Studio this year ❤️

Ellaura has been dancing for 12 years and has been part of our Part-Time Musical Theatre Program, our Ballet Program and our Performance Companies. She has been an assistant teacher, performed with the Brisbane City Youth Ballet and was Kristoff in Frozen Jr.

Ellaura is kind, respectful, resilient, courageous and unapologetically herself. She has brought so much personality to our studio and we wouldn’t have her any other way.

In 2027 Ellaura will be taking a gap year and continuing to teach drama. Whatever comes next, we know she will approach it with the same creativity and determination that she has brought to dance.

We are so proud of you Ellaura. Keep working hard, being kind and Ellaurafying things wherever you go ❤️

Congratulations to Chloe McEvoy who will be graduating from The Studio this year 💜

Chloe has been dancing for 14 years and has been in our Performance Companies for 8 years. She has worked as an assistant teacher and has represented us at many events.

Chloe is dedicated, reliable, focused and hardworking. She is often one step ahead of us in class, remembering the counts and choreography without fail. Chloe is always going out of her way to help, doing so quietly and patiently without ever making a fuss.

In 2027 Chloe hopes to study Medicine with dreams of building a career where she can make a difference in the lives of others (and we know she will) 💜

We will miss you Chloe. Thank you for your unwavering dedication and for being someone we could always count on.

Congratulations to Milly Arndell who will be graduating from The Studio this year 🤍

Milly has been dancing for 14 years and has been part of our Part-Time Ballet Program, our Part-Time Musical Theatre Program and Performance Companies. She has also been an assistant teacher and performed the role of Clara in our 2023 production of The Nutcracker.

Milly is talented, intelligent, witty and passionate. She is a natural leader who approaches everything she does with honesty and integrity.

In 2027 Milly hopes to study Law at university in Queensland and we know she will make a wonderful contribution to the world of law 🤍

We are so proud of you Milly. Thank you for waving The Studio flag so proudly for all these years. We will miss you.

Congratulations to Tayla Beattie who will be graduating from The Studio this year 🫶

Tayla has been dancing for 11 years and is a much loved member of our studio.

Tayla has been in our Part-Time Ballet Program, our Performance Companies and has worked as both an assistant teacher and now a teacher.

Tayla’s passion and love for dance has been such a gift to all of us. Watching her dance is pure joy, and we feel so lucky knowing she will continue to pass that love on to her own students.

In 2027 Tayla will be completing her Certificate III in Community Services, continuing to expand her knowledge of Gomeroi Country and supporting young Indigenous women. We know her passion for helping others will take her far 🫶

We are so proud of you Tayla and feel lucky to be part of your journey.
