My Wife is participating in this years Tamworth Cancer Council's Stars Dance for Cancer Event as a member of 'The Roulettes'.

This week is their first fundraiser! I'll be manning the BBQ be sure to come and grab some breaky!

This Saturday is CALORIES FOR A CAUSE! A Stars Dance for Cancer, Tamworth Cancer Council Fundraiser

Where: Revfit Fitness and Coaching – 67 Plain Street Taminda.

When: Saturday 26th July. Choose from a 7am or 8am class (if you want to hear our Olympian guest speaker I recommend attending the 7am so you don’t miss him!)

What: A fun workout, leaving you feel good on the inside (yeah, get those endorphins pumping) and outside (helping raise funds for your community).
The workout will be adaptable for all levels of experience and ability – Everyone is welcome!

Prizes: Your attendance puts you in the draw to win a number of prizes generously donated by: Revfit Fitness and Coaching, The Athletes Foot, Intersport Tamworth and ASN Tamworth Vitamin and Supplement Store.

Guest Speaker: At 8am, Australian Olympian Isaac Ntiamoah (2012 London Olympics Men’s Relay Team) will give an address, highlighting the ins and outs of training, nutrition, Olympics and more. There will also be time for a Q&A or to chat with him after.

Breaky?! You bet ‘cha! Hot BBQ Breaky and Drinks will also be available for purchase 😋

The Tamworth BMX Track is now open to the public after successful remediation and upgrade works.

While Council is excited to have the track fully open, we would like to remind the community that no motorbikes, scooters, rollerblades, remote control cars or skateboards are to be used on the BMX track as this will damage the surface.

If you do see track damage, please report it to Council or let the BMX Club know. As it is a specialised surface please do not attempt to repair it yourself.

Thank you to the BMX community for your patience while the track has been closed 🚲.
