A nice day for a trail ride. 14km through the Moonbi hills had the horses tired at the end.

Crusade had his first ride out with other horses.

We sold Carabri Lexicon this year. She is missed, but unfortunately I had to make some tough choices as a result of moving recently.

Carabri Absaroka, aka ‘Roanie Pony’, is doing well at Reata Ranch. It was nice to see her calmly moving around the arena and cattle. I am looking forward to getting her home and continuing her education.

Amber has had to step up after Georgia said goodbye to her pony but still wanted to ride. How great is it now that Georgia saddles up, does some groundwork, and gets herself ready?!

Amber is doing a fabulous job although we might need to remind Georgia that trotting is a thing.

Today Mystery left us for a new home. As a farewell, Georgia took him for a ride yesterday and I snapped some photos so she could see how much she has grown and learnt on this pony. Since owning Mystery, Georgia has doubled in height, grown out of her saddle, stolen mine (and my boots too!), and learnt about and practised good horsemanship.

Mystery wishes we would either head to the beach or build a pontoon to jump off! You have to love a good quiet pony. After Georgia took him for a ride and a swim both kids finished with some big splashes.

A fantastic sunset over our new bore and tank. I know it has since rained, and the creek is again flowing, but having the bore after months of stress and water carting sure feels good!
