2026 North West Primary Athletics Trial

The annual North West SSA Primary Regional Athletics trial was held last Friday at the Tamworth Regional Athletics Centre.

Congratulations to all athletes for their effort and sportsmanship and a very big thank you to our teachers, volunteers, and supporters who made the day possible.

⚠ Please ensure you complete the DASH registration asap to confirm your attendance and so your school can approve the application; payment is to be completed by Thursday 17 September.

Optional apparel orders will be posted out once payment has been made.

NSWCHSSA Athletics Championships

Day 1 of the Secondary athletics championship was a success for North West Schools Sports Association.

🥉Mackenzie W from Oxley HS won bronze in the 16-19 years girls MC long jump with a distance of 3.67m.

🥉Jack M from Coolah CS won bronze in the 13 years boys high jump with a distance of 1.63m.

🥇Addison L from Oxley HS won gold in the 14 years girls 200m with a time of 26.89.

🥉Ethan W from Farrer MAHS won bronze in the 16 years boys 200m with a time of 22.89.

Congratulations to all athletes who competed today and best of luck to those who are yet to compete over the next two days.

The North West Primary girls football team are competing in a three-day championship this week in Tuggerah.

The girls have had some tough competition straight up, however that hasn't stopped them from giving it their all.

The North West Primary boys football team are in Salamanda Bay this week for the state championships.

They are about to kick off their first game against Polding, good luck boys!
