South Tamworth's representative success continues, with Carol White and Chris Myers once again earning selection in the BioScapes NSW Blues Senior Women's Side for the upcoming Victoria Test Series at Deer Park on 17–18 August.
Their continued selection is a wonderful recognition of the consistency they have demonstrated over many years at club, regional and state representative level. Carol has been selected at Third, while Chris will take on the role of Skip as part of a strong NSW side.
Congratulations to Carol and Chris on yet another outstanding representative achievement. Everyone at South Bowlo wishes them and the NSW Blues every success in Victoria.
The Bob Fowler and Kerry McCarthy Memorial Open Triples nominations are open to enter to be played on September 26-27. The Carlton Dry 3.5 Men’s Fours Classic is October 3 -4 and open for entry. Come and see me in the Bowls Office or direct debit for payment details are on the flyers.

South Tamworth Bowling Club is proud to host and fully fund the Thunderbolts Junior Bowls Academy — a structured 12-week junior development program, delivered at no cost to participants.

Designed for junior bowlers across the North West, the program combines:
🎯 Structured coaching
🎯 Weekly match play
🎯 Skill development in a fun, supportive environment

📅 Program Commences
👉 Tuesday 14th July – Junior Induction
👉Weekly Match Play - starting Saturday 18th July
👉 Coaching every 2 weeks, starting Thursday 16th July

The program concludes with a junior carnival featuring:
