National Primary Games The National Primary Games is a festival of sport for U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13 and U14 (Year 3-8)

The NPG is a unique Sports Carnival for girls and boys aged U8-U14, representing their school, club or association in teams of all levels. They will compete in a feel good atmosphere against clubs and schools from all regions with the presence of special guest athletes and Olympians over the weekend. Competitions will be coordinated by Sporting bodies (local, state and in some cases national) and is set to be held over the last weekend of the July school holidays in NSW – 16 & 17 July, 2022. Tamworth is gifted with extraordinary sporting facilities and excellent accommodation options, the envy of any regional city in Australia.

2015 was our inaugural year and we had an amazing response to this event. We were fortunate enough to welcome 1500 children across 12 different sports to Tamworth from places across QLD, NSW and the ACT. The event has seen growth in numbers ever since, and we are gearing up for another exciting year in 2022!
