‘Big Baz’, 17hh, 8yo OTTB gelding

Race name: Bottom Line

As sweet as they come, Baz is incredibly affectionate with a true ‘puppy dog’ nature. He absolutely loves attention, and will take it in whatever manner you’re offering, whether it’s just cuddles in the paddock, giving him a bath, or working with him.

Since retiring from racing, he’s spent his years getting valuable ‘real life’ experience that’s made him a well rounded, and well mannered partner.
He has been ridden in both English and stock saddles, frequently trailed, good with chickens and dogs around his feet, cows, machinery, mini horses, etc.

In the arena he has 3 very quality paces, and a highly trainable nature. He is relaxed, sensible, and focussed. He holds an uphill frame, moves off the leg, and is relaxed, yet responsive under saddle.

As expected, Baz is incredibly easy to do anything with on the ground. Loads and floats like a dream (angles and straights). Up to date with everything.

Baz is in the sweet spot of young and competitive, yet had some time to mature with ‘real world’ experiences. It’s rare to find OTTB’s with this sort of experience, especially ones of this quality. Baz will suit a rider capable of putting together a larger horse.
