Adventure 4 Kids

It is with a heavy heart that I post my last post as A4K as I have made the decision to adventure into Adventure 4 Teens - Teenpreneurs in the making. I have really enjoyed the last 9.5 years facilitating School Camps, Adventure Club, Incursions, Excursions, Adventure Camps, Bushwalking Club, OHSC Co-ordinator, After School Sport, In School Sport just to name of few over the years. A4K was more than just a business for me it was my heart, a healing tool and an expression of who I am. I met many people who journeyed with me during this time and am so very GRATEFUL to have met and worked with all of you.

I started all of this because I wanted to spend more time with my kids and bring them to work with me. To all of my A4K family past & present I have completely enjoyed your company, hard work, loyalty and so many funny, stupid, crackup moments. You are all part of my heart and I have so many awesome memories!!!

There were tough times but the GOOD times far outweighed the challenging times. I have made so many friends along the way. Just like in life there is always a revolving door of people who come in and out to teach you more about who you are as a person and who you choose to be. Without the bad we could not enjoy the good. They work harmoniously together as polarity has also been the fabric of life.

So I will end with a GRATTITUDE rant as there were many people along the way who contributed to my journey. Firstly my biggest fans Brian, Eireann and Kea who were my inspiration to keep going. Secondly to my A4K family who have graced me with their presence. Mikailah Rachael Gooda who got me over my own fears and predicted my success. Silkwood School, Scouts, School Camps QLD, Thunderbird Park, Cedar Creek Lodges and many more……

Teens need to learn self responsibility and that includes doing things they do not like. Like house work, mowing lawns, cleaning bathrooms etc..... Even though they complain this will make them feel more connected to you!!!

What are you still doing for your teen to make their life easier?
To build responsibility we need to give responsibility.
I am writing The Parenting Plan to help parents create a template to graduate responsibility intentionally throughout their child’s life.
