Training is on this arvo. There are movie crew parking down at the Sports Centre but I just spoke to the Security and we are fine to train. Just park your car next to my car which will be close to the Little Grandstand. 4pm start for the first group. 5pm start for the second group. Bring a Drink!

First Touch Football Academy.

Soccer Skills and Training and FUN every Wednesday for Boys and Girls.

2016 Training starts Today!

4:00 - 5:00pm (5, 6, 7 year age group)

5:00 - 6:00pm (8 years and above)

Tamborine Mountain Sports Centre - Long Road.

For the past year I have been coaching kids once per week on a Wednesday afternoon. The younger kids have all dribbled, passed, laughed, scored, made new friends and had a lot of fun! The older kids have slowly progressed through a skill based Development program as well. We will begin training again today : Wednesday January 6, 2016. Boys and girls welcome - open to all kids who want to come and have some fun playing football; and all abilities are welcome even if you are new to the game. This year all training sessions will go for 1 hour for all age groups. Cost is $10 / child / session. If you have any questions please comment or send me a pm. Great way to lead into the club football season. Come down and have some fun, make some friends and score some goals! You don't need football boots to start, just some sneakers will get you going. And bring a drink also!

Last Session for the Year this Wednesday, 16 December. Can everyone (all ages) please get there for a 4pm start. We will all train together for 1 hour. The big kids will help the little kids. Then at 5pm we will have an Xmas Party. Everyone is invited so come down and have some fun. Please bring a plate of food if you can... We will then re-start training January 6, 2016.

In the new Year I would like to run 5 v 5 games for the younger age group, as some of them will start playing soccer next year and it will be a good time to get them used to the proper 'rules'. I will basically do 20min ball work/skill development and then 2 x 15min halves. Spread the word, hope to see you all on Wednesday.

Great to see some little Socceroos brave the weather and come down to training this afternoon. I love playing footy in the rain and I remember as a kid having so much fun doing it! I will always be there for training in the rain unless it is hailing, or lightning or unless the actual ground is flooded. The field we train on drains very, very well so the surface is always safe to train on. Put them in a light jacket and let 'em have some fun! Thanks, Coach Jared
