Over 20 local sporting clubs and community groups were at the expo and it was good to talk to new residents to the mountain and to catch up with old friends at the bridge club, pickleball club, Landcare, Tamborine Mountain Orchestra, Tamborine Mountain Little Theatre and many others

On today!

The Tamborine Mountain Tennis Club are hosting our annual presentation / celebration event Today, Sunday 22nd February from 2.30pm.

All members, families, and guests are invited.

Throughout the afternoon, we’ll be presenting trophies and prizes to last year’s club championship winners and runners up. We’re hoping for a great crowd. There will be something for everyone to enjoy!

We’ll also be making the most of the occasion by giving everyone a chance to try out the freshly resurfaced courts. If you haven’t had a hit on them yet, come along and see how the new surface plays.

Everyone is welcome, and we’ll have a barbecue running as well.

Event Date / Time: Today, Sunday the 22nd February from 2.30pm.

G'day everyone, great news!

Fit Hit is resuming THIS TUESDAY (27th Jan) - 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

🎾 What is Fit Hit?
Fit Hit is a fun, friendly, health-focused initiative where anyone can come and join and get fit practicing tennis drills, techniques, games, and more - all lead by our local club coach, Neil.

🎾 How to play:
Fit Hit sessions cost only $5 and are held weekly on Tuesday evenings at our local courts at 88 Beacon Rd Tamborine Mountain.

Come along and have a hit and a laugh. Looking forward to seeing you there! 😃

The court resurfacing works are well underway now. Where are we at so far?

The old court surfacing has been stripped, the concrete slab cleaned and prepped, and the new synthetic grass has just started to be laid today! Looking good! 🤩

So far no delays, and the projected completion time is within the two week estimate. More details to come regarding re-opening as progress continues...

In the meantime, for those of us that need a tennis fix, Canungra have courts available for hire here: https://play.tennis.com.au/moriartyparkcommunitysportingcentre/Booking/
The Canungra courts have also been resurfaced this year in a surface very similar to what our club is just having installed!
