Join the Katandra Cricket Club for our end-of-season Presentation Night! 🦅🏏

It's time to celebrate all our players and volunteers and thank everyone for their support.

🏆 Presentations begin at: 6:30 PM (Juniors first, then General Club awards, followed by Seniors)

Plus, the Full Bar will be open! 🍻🍷

Congratulations to Corey Hickford on finishing 3rd in the Shepparton Lightfoot Medal last night.

Corey opened the batting all season, making 334 runs at an average of 30.36, while also taking 22 wickets at 14.77. He finished the year with 694 champion player points in what was a terrific all-round season.

This was no accident either — Corey set the standard all year. We don’t think he missed a training session and consistently led from the front with both bat and ball.

A great season and a well-deserved result. Well done, Corey 👏🏏

Well done to our D Grade boys on winning best conducted club.

Corey Hickford also finished 3rd in the Lightfoot Medal for A Grade.

Well done everyone! We will see everyone Friday night for Junior & Senior Club Presentations.

🏏🏉 Cricketers V Footballers - David Irvine Shield – Wrap Up 🏉🏏

What a day. A bit of rain rolled through and somehow that only added to the chaos and made it even better.

It was unreal to see footballers, cricketers, netballers and even our junior cricketers all involved in the one game exactly what a community day should look like. Huge thanks to all volunteers who helped make it happen, plus everyone who cooked, served, set up, packed up, ran the bar, and kept things rolling while the weather tried its best to stir the pot.

A special moment was having David Irvine himself down there, and even strapping the pads on for the Cricketers, an absolute highlight.

The jumping castle looked like it was a massive win for the kids all day, and it was great to see such a strong community turnout for the first time this event has ever been run, weather and all.

On the field, the Cricketers got the win after a late run of wickets fell on the footballers side, but honestly it was a ripper day for everyone who played and everyone who came down to support.

And somehow, Corey Hickford took out Player of the Match despite being dismissed five times… so we can only assume some behind-the-scenes bribing has taken place. 😅

Most importantly, it was great to see the two clubs that help unite our community coming together like this, and we’re keen to build it bigger and better from here.
