Finals time.
We came 3rd in our pennant this year and we played against Wodonga in Yackandandah last Saturday 8th February.
It wasn’t a great day for us at all. Unfortunately we couldn’t come away with a win but we tried our best.
It was a lovely day for a game of bowls.
We lost to wodonga 62- 47

On Thursday 31st October it was our turn to host the over 60’s tournament. It was a beautiful day for a game of bowls. We had all our rinks full of bowlers. It was great to see different people from different clubs come and play. Everyone had a wonderful day and really enjoyed there bowls.
Thanks to everyone who came and help on and off the green to make the tournament run smoothly.
Thanks again to Josie for your wonderful job you do In the kitchen to prepare all the meals for our visiting bowlers. You do an amazing job. 💋😊

Also on Sunday 3rd November we had another A grade club singles game played at 1pm Jason V’s Tim.
This was a great game to watch too. It was playing in great sprits. Tim took the win.

On Sunday 3rd of November at 1pm we had Phil v’s Butch in the A grade club single. It was a great match to watch. There was a lot of tape been coming out for measuring by butch which was great to see.,
Never seen butch measure in a game before got a bit serious but it is great to see.
Butch won the match.

Yesterday we played our 3rd pennant game at yackandandah. It was a lovely day to play bowls. The green was very fast but once we got use to it we went full steam ahead.

We had another great win yesterday against yackandandah the score was
Tallangatta 81 - 41 we won on all 3 rinks grade effort to everyone who played yesterday. Keep up the great work everyone. 😊

On Sunday 20th we had one of our B Grade single game played. Caleb V’s Roger.
It was a very long but great game played on Sunday.
Caleb played very well and so did Roger.
Caleb took the win 25 -21

What a cracker of a game it was Caleb was always in front but Roger didn’t give up either at one stage Roger came back and it was only 1 point the defence.
But in the end young Caleb was too good.

We played our 2nd round of Pennant at Kiewa on the weekend 19th October.
It was a well hard fought game and we turned it around and we took the win.
We lost on 2 rinks and won 1 rink. Which had enough to cover the other 2rinks for the win.

Our first Pennant game was on 12th October at home.
Against Lavington Panthers bowls club.

Teams were
Keith, Phil, Geoff & bob
Mark, Tim, Belinda & Don
Max, Rowdy, Real, Jason

It was a great day and we took our 1st win against Lavington. We won on all our rinks and won the game very comfortably 70 - 40.

Well done to everyone who played we all had a great day and lots of fun.
Keep up the great work guys we have Kiewa on Saturday 19th October.

On 3rd October we had our Ladies Day Tournament and it was a huge success.
All the ladies who came and bowled had a lovely and fabulous day. There were so many ladies dressed up and it was great to see.
Everyone enjoyed the food and really enjoyed the day.
The Sailors won the fancy dressed.

I want to thank everyone who made the day run so smoothly and who helped with salads and food.
For everyone who helped on and off the greens to make this day a huge success.
It was a beautiful day and everyone enjoyed themselves.
